  1. Pereira will not be Everton bosspublished at 17:16 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2019

This isn't Champions League themed but Vitor Pereira is currently on Sky Sports News, telling them that he has withdrawn from the running to be the next Everton boss.

The search for Marco Silva's replacement goes on.

We'll have more on that on the Sport website shortly.

Sadio Mane, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Georginio Wijnaldum are back in the Liverpool starting line-up.

The trio did not start Saturday's 3-0 win over Bournemouth, although Alexander-Arnold came on in that game.

Joe Gomez, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain drop to the bench.

Red Bull Salzburg sensation Erling Braut Haaland starts up front.

Their line-up is similar to the one who played at Anfield, with the only change from that game seeing Haaland - who wasn't fit to start in Liverpool - replacing Patson Daka.

They make four changes from their 5-1 win over Swarovski Tirol on Saturday.

So, Liverpool are currently top of Group E and will guarantee top spot with a win.

The Reds could have qualified with a game to spare if they had beaten Napoli, but the Italian side held them 1-1 at Anfield. They are guaranteed a Europa League last-32 place at the very least.

Napoli will progress if they get a point at home to Genk in the final game.

A first Champions League home win in six attempts would guarantee Chelsea a place in the last 16 - but depending on other results, they could also progress with a draw against the already-eliminated French side.

They missed the opportunity to qualify in their last game by failing to beat Valencia, but if the Spanish side lose to Group H leaders Ajax, then Lampard's side also could qualify with a point from their final game.
