Chelsea to make the Champions League Final? As long as they don't meet a team that can match the might of Everton(14th) or West Ham(16th) along the way!

    Marlo

Why can't we just not concede?! 2-1 Lille look terrible we should be done and dusted at 4-0. Why do we allow teams back into the match when we look on top? We have to beat Lille, cannot blow this chance to qualify away!

    Daniel

Chelsea fans calling for an experienced centre-back, Gary Cahill anyone? Criminal they let him go and surprised Frank didn't try to have an influence when first spoken to about the job.

Massive chance for Lille. Remy can bury his former side but after breaking down the left he opts for a shot instead of a low cross to unmarked team-mates and tamely side-foots it to Kepa.

Lampard paces nervously on the touchline.

  5. Fati, 17, puts Barcelona aheadpublished at 21:48 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2019

    Inter Milan 1-2 Barcelona

Seventeen-year-old Ansu Fati, on as a substitute, has just scored for Barcelona, a goal that is going to dump Inter Milan out of the competition.

Fati is now the youngest ever scorer in the Champions League.

It all comes down to the next five minutes of added time. Keep Lille out and Chelsea are through, concede and the Blues are out.

Benfica 3-0 Zenit St Petersburg / Lyon 1-2 RB Leipzig

Benfica have a third against Zenit St Petersburg (an own goal from Sardar Azmoun), but the Russians will still be going through, unless Lyon get an equaliser against RB Leipzig.

Batshuayi has chance to make amends, but after being gifted the ball in the box by Willian, he turns into trouble as opposed to away from it and sees his shot blocked.

  11. Nervous Dortmund down to 10published at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2019

Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Slavia Prague / Inter Milan 1-1 Barcelona

Borussia Dortmund are currently heading into the last 16, but their fans will be nervous as Julian Weigl has just been shown a second yellow and he's off.

If Slavia Prague score an equaliser or if Inter Milan find a winner against Barcelona (currently 1-1) then Dortmund will drop into the Europa League.

Inter's Lautaro Martinez has twice had the ball in the net, but twice seen the celebrations cut short by an assistant's flag for offside.

There is a reason Michy Batshuayi has failed to establish himself at Chelsea. Sloppy passes like the one he produced on the edge of the Lille box to gift possession to the visitors is one of them. It's so sloppy and unnecessary.

Loïc Rémy became the seventh player to score for and against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League, after Samuel Eto’o, Fernando Torres, Diego Costa, Michael Ballack, David Luiz and Willian.

I said at half time that it was all over and told Chelsea fans not to worry, but they will be worrying now.

Chelsea concede one more goal and they will be going out of the Champions League.

Yousuf Ali: When we learn to keep clean sheets, we can have a chance at winning things. Lamps need to take it seriously or it would come back to bite him.

Lifa Nati: Lampard's game management is so poor. Why make those unnecessary substitutions?? Now Chelsea risk throwing this away against a team playing for nothing.

Renato Sanches - remember him? Well, he has just come on for Lille. Something to prove to the Premier League? This would be one way to do it.

That's what good strikers do. Loic Remy hasn't been in this game at all but it is a brilliant finish with his left foot.

He's about seven or eight yards outside the box and he hits it in off the underside of the cross bar. A really good finish.

All of a sudden, there is tension in this stadium.

Yusuf Yazici heightens that by firing a shot just wide. Chelsea need to get a grip again.

    Loic Remy

    Back to haunt the Blues!

There is life in the French side. Jonathan Bamba poulls the ball back after having nipped to the left byline and Loic Remy - the ex-Chelsea man - fires in off the underside of the bar.

Chelsea were cruising, now they've got a nervous 12 minutes on their hand. No wonder Frank Lampard is grumbling to himself on the bench.
