Emerson clearly fancies a goal tonight. He has another pop from range, curling a shot that Mike Maignan is right behind to save.

The tempo has dropped and Chelsea are comfortable.

The Lille players that have been brought in for this game - there is no pressure on them. You would think they would just go forward and have a go, not come here and sit back

    Ajax 0-1 Valencia

There has been a goal in the other game in this group. It is an intriguing one as well. Valencia are ahead at Ajax through a Rodrigo Moreno goal.

If the results stay as they currently are, Ajax, last season's semi-finalists, will be going out, with Chelsea and Valencia going through.

Andy White: Willian must be one of the most underrated players in the Premier League. Does he ever have a bad game?

    Optimistic.

Jeremy Pied latches on to a loose ball, 40 yards from goal and feels this is his chance. With glory in his nostrils he pumps the ball 30 yards over the crossbar.

That's where I want my centre-forward - inside the six-yard box - and that's why Tammy Abraham is on fire at the moment.

A really deft finish to a really well-worked team goal from Chelsea.

There is an ominous feel about Chelsea here. This young Lille side look there for the taking and the Blues look in the mood.

England forward Jadon Sancho has scored after only 10 minutes for Borussia Dortmund in their home match against Slavia Prague.

It is still goalless at the San Siro between Inter Milan and a much-changed Barcelona so that will be Dortmund going through as it stands with Inter dropping into the Europa League.

Bad news for Lyon in Group G as they have gone a goal down at home to already qualified RB Leipzig, thanks to a penalty from Emil Forsberg. The French side will finish third if it stays that way.

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Lillepublished at 18 mins

    Tammy Abraham

    It was coming.

It's a fine team goal, starting with a chest-off from N'Golo Kante to Christian Pulisic, followed by a ball for Willian to charge on to down the right and cross for the simplest of finishes from Tammy Abraham.

    Simple, effective, deserved.

Chelsea can't get too frustrated because you can see Lille's gameplan is to sit back and play counter-attacking football. So don't force it.

The crowd is going to have to stay with them, because it is going to be a frustrating night until they get that first goal.

Once they do get that goal, maybe the floodgates can open, but you can see Lille have come here to basically get a draw because they are sitting behind the ball.

The Lille door is taking a hammering.

N'Golo Kante has an initial shot from the edge of the box blocked but follows up quickly and lashes a volley just wide of the post.

Much as I want Chelsea to go through, chances are they then get one of PSG, Barcelona, Bayern or Juve! Only a one in five chance they get Leipzig.

    Top save!

N'Golo Kante swings a cross over from the right that beats everyone and reaches Emerson on the edge of the box. His strike is solid and low and looks like it might end up in the net until Mike Maignan gets down to push it away.
