    Chelsea 0-0 Lille

Antonio Rudiger makes his first real contribution in a Chelsea shirt for a while and it is a fine one - a long ball forward for Tammy Abraham that the striker is not quite able to steer on target with his head.

Big boost for the Blues, having Rudiger back, bringing some serious experience and ability to that back four.

If they do qualify out of the group stages I think it will have been a terrific achievement.

I think Frank Lampard is doing a great job.

Lifting the transfer ban will help. I think he should go and strengthen to help the younger guys, especially in defensive areas.

Scrappy opening. Tammy Abraham looks to flick the ball into the path of Christian Pulisic, but fails. It is absolutely smashing it down.

    Chelsea 0-0 Lille

Frank Lampard has brought in Jorginho, Emerson and a fit again Antonio Rudiger. No room for any slip-ups tonight. The Blues can't afford to lose. The game is under way.

This may be a dead rubber for Lille with all the pressure on Chelsea but their supporters tucked away in a corner of Stamford Bridge are in magnificent voice.

They have made their presence felt in and around the stadium since well before kick-off and it is fair to say they are not planning to go quietly from the Champions League.

The worst Liverpool player tonight was Firmino. Who is better than every player in every other premier league team.

    Percy, Brighton

Well that's the first finalist decided. It's just down to who Liverpool will meet in the final now

    Ozzy

So does that Leicester fan still think they'll beat the best team in the world? Funniest thing I've heard all night.

    RB Salzburg 0-2 Liverpool

You have to feel a bit for RB Salzburg. They've almost given as much as they have got in this Champions League. Their 16 goals scored is the most by a side to be eliminated from their Champions League group since Chelsea also scored 16 but finished third in 2012-13; today was the only one of Salzburg’s six Champions League matches in 2019-20 that they failed to score in.

Inter Milan, needing to match Borussia Dormund's result against Slavia Prague to qualify, make just the one change from their goalless draw against Roma on Friday as Danilo D'Ambrosio replaces Antonio Candreva.

Romelu Lukaku, who has scored 11 times since moving from Manchester United for £74m in August, starts up front, but Alexis Sanchez, on loan from United, has still not recovered from a knee injury he picked up away at Barcelona on 2 October.

Inter Milan: Handanovic, Godin, de Vrij, Skriniar, D'Ambrosio, Vecino, Brozovic, Valero, Biraghi, Lukaku, Martinez.

Substitutes: Politano, Lazaro, Dimarco, Padelli, Esposito, Candreva, Bastoni.

Job done from Liverpool - a great away performance. They have stuttered this year away from home but when it was needed they came up trumps.

    A fantastic performance from Liverpool.

    RB Salzburg 0-2 Liverpool

It was comfortable in the end for Liverpool, but for an hour it could have gone either way.

Goals from Keita and Salah takes the Reds through in first spot, ahead of Napoli, who were 4-0 winners over Genk.

Salzburg are destined for the Europa League.

A very entertaining game it was too.

You can't keep Mo Salah out of the action, even when he is offside. The striker is about 15 yards off for a pass but runs away from the ball, allowing the attack to continue. He is also off when the ball is floated in for Sadio Mane, but again steps away, only for Mane to see his effort blocked.

Keita has been better in the second half. I thought he was sloppy in the first half. I'm a fan of his. i think he is capable of unlocking defences, he is capable of scoring goals, like we saw in the second half. It's the simple things - the three, four, five yard passes - that sometimes he doesn't do well.

Harrison Short: What a goal from Salah, but nothing on that Roberto Carlos goal vs Tenerife in 1998 that was practically off the pitch.

Ilyas Najib: All that hype coming into the game and Haaland has come unstuck against the colossal that is Virgil van Dijk. Tonight was a real step up in quality and the young man has been left with plenty to ponder.

The Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch continues to encourage his side from the sidelines. He's a competitor that lad, but even he must know his side are not getting back into this.

To be honest, he's probably fortunate it is only 2-0 to Liverpool. They should have double that.

It's like a training game now for Liverpool.

Salzburg realise they have been beaten, and beaten well.

They just can't get the extra spring in their legs to reproduce their dynamic play from the first half.
