A wonderful pass from Scott Arfield carves open the Legia defence to send the Colombian in on goal, but the home keeper gets down well to deny him.

It's a terrific ball in from Gvilia's free-kick and Lewczuk rose freely but his header goes by the far post.

With AIK temporarily down to 10 men due one of their players receiving treatment for a head injury, Neil Lennon's side almost take advantage.
Odsonne Edouard wins the ball on the edge of the area, turns his marker, and forces AIK goalkeeper Oscar Linner to stretch fully to his right to tip his powerful effort away.
The save may have come at a price for Linner, who then has to receive treatment, getting his wrist strapped up.

Couple of decent chances for Celtic.Boli Bolingolii pulls the ball back for Michael Johnston and his shot is tipped away. From the corner kick the goalkeeper has to punch away, before the ball comes back in and Christopher Jullien heads over.

Hosts go close to taking the lead. A whipped corner from the near side is met by Lewczuk who gets in ahead of Flanagan.
The defender gets his head on the ball but it whizzes over the bar. To be fair to Allan McGregor, he looked to have it covered, but still. Slightly concerning for Rangers given the way the hosts have come out.

Ryan Christie's corner reaches Odsonne Edouard at the far end of the six-yard box, but it bounces off his chest and he can't get it under control, allowing AIK a comfortable enough clearance.

The fans are fantastic but it's been far from the case. Rangers have controlled it, limited them, had long spells of possession and will have been pretty happy when that half-time whistle sounded.

Quote MessageCallum McGregor is such an intelligent football player that he can player anywhere. But he has more effect on the game playing from midfield. Yeah he's back in there, Ryan Christie has been excellent this season as well, so AIK will sit back, they'll have to find gaps. I think the midfield will be highly contested, it's somewhere they'll have to get control of the game. McGregor can go in there, get deeper, start the attacks and get forward.
