    Stephen Couse

It’s looking like there will be no more additions for Aberdeen in this transfer window - has it been a successful one for Derek McInnes?

Graeme Shinnie may have been the biggest player to replace for Aberdeen.

Craig Bryson has been tipped by McInnes to fill the hole left by the captain - but we will likely have to wait until after the international break to see if he will do that effectively, having missed much of the season so far through injury.

New addition Ryan Hedges has impressed in recent outings for the Dons, as well as left-back Greg Leigh - filling a position left vacant by Max Lowe, who impressed in his loan spell from Derby last season.

But the retention of two really top players at either end of the park - Sam Cosgrove and Scott McKenna - at a time when it would be easy for the club to sell their top talent to fund a new stadium, is perhaps the most satisfying part of the summer window for the Dons.

We're now approachng the final four hours of the transfer window. Here is the verdict from some Scottish football fans. Get in touch with your thoughts by tweeting us at @BBCSportScot, external.

Eamonn: Gutted to seemingly lose Taylor, but he goes with all our best wishes. Hopefully we have a sizeable sell-on included as he's going to outgrow even Celtic very soon. Recent games have shown that we've already signed an excellent replacement in [Kasper] Hamalainen. (Kilmarnock)

JJ: Perfect transfer window. We improved on every position on the park solving various problems, and made some marquee signings including Kyle McAllister and hopefully Kirk Broadfoot. (St Mirren)

Kieran: GregTaylor is probably the best left-back in the country. A no brainier to bring him in. More than happy with that. (Celtic)

Matthew: Ryan Kent is the deal Rangers fans have been waiting all summer for! (Rangers)

A good, good player. Good technical ability. It's one position that Celtic clearly needed to solve after the sale of KieranTierney. He knows the league, he knows the position. I think he'll go in there very comfortably

  11. Taylor may have to wait for Celtic startpublished at 19:27 British Summer Time 2 September 2019

I don't want to be too harsh on Boli Bolingoli because I've not seen too much of him but I don't think there's any doubt there are massive question marks over him.

I think Greg Taylor would be first choice but by the time he gets up to speed, Bolingoli may have had another two or three games and continued to grow.

Neil Lennon may well have felt he has settled in to that position and Taylor may have to wait.

  18. Celtic should have signed Taylor earlierpublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 2 September 2019

    Kilmarnock/Celtic

    Michael Stewart
Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound

The Greg Taylor deal is one that falls in to the category of one that should have been done earlier in the window. I think he's a good signing and a sensible signing for Celtic.

But once they sold Kieran Tieney for such a vast sum of money then inevitably Kilmarnock were going to say 'We want a big chunk of money for Greg Taylor.'

Had Celtic brought in Taylor earlier in the window they could have got him for less.

  19. 'Henderson will get plenty of action at County'published at 18:47 British Summer Time 2 September 2019

    Celtic/Ross County

    Stephen Couse
    BBC Sport Scotland

With a number of injuries to their first-team including midfielders Ross Draper - who will be our for more than a month - as well as Don Cowie and Lewis Spence, it is possible Ewan Henderson will get plenty of first-team action.

He will bring first-team experience with Celtic, and having represented Scotland at youth level, Henderson could be a big signing for the Dingwall club.
