    Kevin Kilbane
Former Republic of Ireland winger on Final Score

They have no idea where Wesley is. It's a great goal from Wesley but it's poor defending. The awareness from Norwich's defence is really poor there and Wesley is there to put Aston Villa ahead. Norwich fans are behind them but Aston Villa have scored against the run of play.

Great kiss of death potential here but Leicester City's Turkish defender Caglar Soyuncu has looked very composed early on.

He has been a revelation as replacement for Harry Maguire in the Foxes' fine start to the season.

I've noticed is as soon as Liverpool win the ball back, they try and put it down the sides for either Mane or Salah to run two-on-two, so it'll be interesting to see how that pans out.

    Watford 0-0 Sheffield United

Great save from Watford keeper Ben Foster to stop Craig Cathcart from scoring an own goal. CC gets his foot onto a cross but all he does is send it towards the top corner of his own goal before Foster claws it away.

We're still waiting for something meaningful to happen at Turf Moor. It has been very average so far and that's being polite.

Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores had his head in his hands after that Andre Gray miss a few minutes ago. Understandably.

Liverpool have to win these big games as well as the lesser teams. Beating Leicester today will show we're here to win the league

GOAL - Norwich 0-1 Aston Villapublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Wesley

Aston Villa hit the front and it's their summer signing, striker Wesley, who gets the goal. It's not great defending in truth from Norwich as they lose the frontman, allow him to take the ball on his chest seven yards out and turn to finish into the bottom corner.

Good game this. I reckon there'll be more goals.

Miss from Liverpool captain James Milner.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is watching the ball roll out of play but suddenly it hits the corner flag and comes back to him. He nutmegs Ben Chilwell and then picks out Milner, who puts it over from 10 yards out.

It's a very lively contest. I think Liverpool's tempo has caught Leicester off-guard. They are trying to close down and get on the front foot but at the minute, Liverpool's crisp passing is causing trouble.

    Burnley 0-0 Everton

The game between Everton and Burnley hasn't been one for the football hipsters so far. There have been a lot of long balls and a lot of hoofing by the two England goalkeepers.

It's not surprising. No side has scored more headed goals than Everton's four in the Premier League this season.

  12. To back or to sack?published at 15:10 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    Burnley 0-0 Everton

    Shamoon Hafez
    BBC Sport at Turf Moor

The two managers have to walk right past the Everton fans to get into and out of the tunnel, unless they walk onto the pitch and cut back across.

Anyway, the point I am making is that should the Toffees lose today, we will clearly be able to gauge the view of the travelling fans on manager Marco Silva.

    Back him or sack him?

    Watford 0-0 Sheffield United

Watford striker Andre Gray has just missed an open goal. An absolute sitter.

It's good play by Roberto Pereyra down the wing to get a cross in. The ball goes past keeper Dean Henderson straight to Gray with an open goal, four yards out. It was bouncing but still no excuse from blazing over from so close range.

Probably not one of the most glamorous Premier League games of all time. Not much action so far at Vicarage Road.

    Norwich 0-0 Aston Villa

There are many good things about Norwich but one of the best is the amount of yellow in the stands. It always looks great.

They play some really nice stuff on the field too. Marco Stiepermann has their first shot but it's comfortably saved by Tom Heaton.

Stiepermann has another go moments later. Good from the hosts.

Good surging run by Andy Robertson down the left, his cross is headed away before it reaches Mohamed Salah.

Now on the other side of the pitch, Wilfried Ndidi blocks Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross for a corner.

    Burnley 0-0 Everton

Everton have some of the best options for free-kicks in the league with the left-foot of Lucas Digne and the right-foot of Gylfi Sigurdsson available to them.

The duo stand over the ball 25 yards out at Turf Moor and this time it's the Iceland international who has a dip. It's on target but Nick Pope gets across to tip the ball around the post.
