And to make matters worse Hugo Lloris seems to have badly injured himself in the process. He's receiving treatment in his own goal and looks in a lot of pain.
He's been given oxygen.

Neal Maupay
Oh Hugo Lloris! A howler after three minutes.
This is absolutely hideous for the Spurs goalkeeper. Pascal Gross sends in a regulation in-swinging cross in from the left and it is straight at Lloris. But the Frenchman seems to lose his bearings and his balance. He's heading back over his own line with the ball in his hands and drops it, allowing Neal Maupay the simplest of finishes.
Tottenham's horrible week gets worse.
Brighton 0-0 Tottenham
It's definitely a back four for Spurs. Moussa Sissoko is at right-back and Ben Davies at left-back. Eric Dier and Tanguy Ndombele are in central midfield.
Brighton 0-0 Tottenham
The pre-match formalities are done. Brighton get us under way.
Brighton v Tottenham (12:30 BST)
Spurs are in their dashing light blue away kit today, Brighton in their traditional blue and white stripes.
Here's a stat to worry Tottenham fans. Spurs have lost their last four 12:30 kick-offs on a Saturday in the Premier League.
Brighton v Tottenham (12:30 BST)
A reminder of the teams...
But our focus here is Brighton v Tottenham.
The players have just emerged from the tunnel.
How will Spurs respond to their record home defeat four days ago?
Phil Neville's England side are back in action this afternoon against Brazil at the Riverside.
In the last international break they were held to a 3-3 draw by Belgium before losing to Norway so they'll be looking to get back to winning ways in Middlesbrough.
You can watch over here. My esteemed colleague Emma Sanders will also be writing the live-text commentary on the same page.
I'm not really selling this am I? Two teams badly out of form. Let's hope they serve up something exciting.

Adam Kitchiner: Happy that Rose is left out. His attitude and application were poor the last few games. If Aurier wasn't suspended he should have been left out too.
That is not good. Brighton fans haven't had a lot to cheer in recent months. The style is changing under Graham Potter but will it bring results?
They were beaten 2-0 at Chelsea last time out and before that drew 0-0 at Newcastle.
15 minutes to go until kick-off at the Amex. The players have nipped inside for the last few words from their managers.
The FA Cup reaches the third-qualifying-round this weekend and we'll once again have a game live on the BBC Red Button and BBC Sport website & app from 12:20 BST.

Football writer Tusdiq Din sat down with Leiciester's all-action midfielder Hamza Choudhury recently to talk about football, his upbringing and faith and his desire to inspire others.
He's even planning to learn how to play the piano! Could be difficult to find time around potential European commitments next season Hamza...

Welcome to Gloucester City, a non-league club with 136 years of history - the last 12 of which have been spent on the move since floods destroyed their Meadow Park ground.
Without a permanent home and with nowhere to store anything, Gloucester's kit man Mike Nash puts balls, bibs and cones used for training in his garden shed, while Chloe Lees, the physio, transports the treatment table for the dressing room to games in the back of her Nissan Micra.
This weekend, a dedicated group of Gloucester fans will make the 480-mile round trip to North Yorkshire for their team's FA Cup third-qualifying-round tie against Whitby Town.
With £11,250 on offer to the winners, it's a huge match for a club losing about £200,000 a year and being propped up by co-chairmen Alex Petheram and Eamonn McGurk.

Kev: I think Brighton May be in for a thrashing!! This will be a minimum 4-0 to Spurs. You heard it here.
Rory: Get Dier in a back 3, Davies and Sissoko out wide, Kane in the number 10 role and Son up top. Get back to basics and get some wins on the board.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are winless in nine league away games (D2, L7) but Lawro is backing them to end that run and bounce back from Tuesday's humbling defeat against Munich.
Spurs paid the price for chasing their Champions League game against Bayern on Tuesday when they were 4-2 down, and ended up conceding seven goals in total.
But I still think they will go to Brighton and win.
Prediction: 0-2
You can see the rest of Lawro's predictions for today's games here.
