Vin Joshi: Sacking Pochettino would be like sacking Leonardo Da Vinci. If you hired him to paint you the Mona Lisa - and the colors started fading off, why would you sack the artist?

    Interesting analogy, Vin...

Again the corner comes to nothing but Tottenham are carrying a threat at least.

    Steve Brown
Former Charlton Athletic defender on BBC Radio London

We need a reaction from Tottenham. They know what they can do but what we need to see is a bit of fight. They looked so flat in the first half. We know they can score, we know they are a good team but we need to see it. It looks better already from Tottenham.

To be fair this is much better from Tottenham now. They win another corner, their third in the five minutes since half-time.

Harry Winks joins the club of Spurs players to have carelessly given the ball away in this game, just five minutes after coming on. It doesn't cost Spurs but it must just add to the frustration.

Pochettino hasn't been backed by the chairman or the board and now he's not being backed by the players. I can see him walking before he gets pushed.

We're back under way. Tottenham's players were out for the second half well before Brighton. Has Pochettino given them a stern talking to?

It's Tanguy Ndombele who has been replaced by Winks. An interesting move to take off the big-money summer signing.

He wasn't great in the first half but neither were many of the Spurs players.

Warm words for Brendan Rodgers in today’s programme from Jurgen Klopp and Jordan Henderson, as the former Liverpool boss returns to Anfield for the first time since being dismissed four years and a day ago. Klopp thanks Rodgers for the "fantastic legacy" he left, while Henderson praises the "massive part" the now Leicester manager played in his development as a player here.

A big claim but is it the right one?

Dele Alli and Lucas Moura are two of the Spurs players warming up at half-time.

    Would they make a difference?

Poch has taken us as far as he can. Time to get a world class coach in whilst we still have the chance and before our stock plummets further. Right now might be the most attractive we are to attract a world class coach in the next 5 years!

The ball has spent twice as much time in the Spurs defensive third than in Brighton's. The Seagulls have been lively and inventive in attack while they have also worked hard to get the ball back high up the field.

Spurs have been the opposite of all of those things.

Spurs made a terrible, start going behind after three minutes and it hasn't got any better.

It was not nice to see Lloris suffer what looks to be a very serious injury but it came after another dreadful error from the Frenchman.

Thomas Knights: All those having a go at Poch, it is hard to cope when players have a couple of good seasons then want moves to bigger clubs, players like Eriksen didn't get the moves they wanted and hearts don't seem in it at the moment.

And that sums Spurs' half up. Jan Vertonghen punts an ambitious cross-field ball out for a goal kick. Sarcastic cheers from the Brighton fans.
