Great defending by Palace's Patrick van Aanholt to stop Sebastien Haller, just as he's about the shoot. The two goalscorers there.

Brighton striker Aaron Connolly has just been added to the Republic of Ireland squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers. That's what two Premier League goals will do for you.

  5. 'West Ham have not produced more chances'published at 19:11 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker on BBC Radio London

There have been a disappointing amount of chances for West Ham this half. They have not really produced any more chances since scoring their goal.

Wilfried Zaha goes down on the edge of the box as he's brought down by Ryan Fredericks. Referee says no free-kick.

If it had been inside the box that probably would have been a penalty as VAR would review it.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 82 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

Glad I said that while I had a chance. James McCarthy is replaced by Andros Townsend. That's an attacking change.

Anyone else really happy to see James McArthur and James McCarthy back in the same team again? They played for Hamilton and Wigan together.

  9. 'McArthur is really solid'published at 19:07 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker on BBC Radio London

There are some really tired players from a Crystal Palace point of view. West Ham are looking the much stronger of the two sides at the moment. The only difference in that is James McArthur. He is one of those players who is just solid throughout every game. He is a really important cog. He does the hard, dirty work and just gets on with it. He's been really good tonight.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 78 mins

West Ham switch, Jack Wilshere replaces Andriy Yarmolenko. Not like for like.

The crowd roar as West Ham start another attack. Can they find a winner? Or can Palace?

Neither goalkeeper has made a save in this half - one shot on target per team.

    West Ham have a corner.

  13. Postpublished at 19:00 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

Since his Premier League debut for Crystal Palace in January 2017, no defender has scored more goals in the competition than Patrick van Aanholt (12 - level with Marcos Alonso).

  14. Postpublished at 18:59 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

Since Crystal Palace were promoted in 2013-14, they have taken the most (47) and scored the most (38) Premier League penalties

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

West Ham right-back Ryan Fredericks has been very lively today.

He picks out Sebastien Haller with a cross, but the striker's shot is blocked.

Only Diafra Sakho (seven) and Dimtri Payet (six) have been involved in more goals in their opening seven Premier League appearances for West Ham than Haller (four goals, one assist).

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 69 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

West Ham make their first change. Pablo Fornals, another disastrous fantasy football signing for me this season, replaces Manuel Lanzini.

  17. Postpublished at 67 mins

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

West Ham striker Sebastien Haller and Palace defender Joel Ward are both in a heap. Haller went for an acrobatic volley and concedes a free-kick for a high boot. He's already been booked, a bit lucky there maybe.

  18. 'It's definitely a penalty'published at 18:52 British Summer Time 5 October 2019

    West Ham 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker on BBC Radio London

It was a raised arm whether it was intentional or not. That's the letter of the law. There are not too many complainants on that one. It's definitely a penalty. It's a big moment in the game this. Super composure shown by Patrick van Aanholt. They are right back in this game now.
