Celtic manager Neil Lennon on BBC Radio Scotland: "I’ve no complaints with the red card, it’s totally unlike Ryan Christie. At half-time I thought we were okay.

"We gave away a bad goal, too passive, lost the ball in a bad area, but we didn’t press Robbie Crawford before he played the through ball and there’s no excuse for that. At 1-0 we were forcing the issue and looking okay, and the second goal is really poor. I don’t think that’s down to being down to 10 men, we should deal with that, it’s a straight long ball over the top.

"We have to, at times, roll our sleeves up and do the nuts and bolts of the game more. I’m not going to whip them for that performance but I didn’t think we were anywhere near as ruthless as we could have been.

"It’s our first defeat. We have to accept it, look where we went wrong, can’t be too emotional about it. We were too emotional in the game. It’s a learning curve for some of the new ones that not everyone is going to let you play the way you want, you have to earn the right to play. With 11 men, it’s difficult enough. With 10, it became more difficult. The game just got away from us."

More from a very happy Livi boss Gary Holt on BBC Radio Scotland: "I’m over the moon. Today we executed in the right areas in the final third really well.

"We were better against 11 men - I really did think that. When they went down to 10 men, we got a wee bit disjointed, but at half-time, I told them to be patient but not slow, and it certainly bore fruit.

"It was a good advert for Scottish football. The battles were great. Ryan Christie was sent-off; it’s not malicious, it’s a bit dangerous. The rub of the green fell on our side today with the goals we scored.

"I’m delighted for the backline; I’ve questioned them, had a go at them, asked them who wants to be hurt for us, and I thought they stood toe-to-toe and defended the box brilliantly."

Livingston manager Gary Holt says star striker Lyndon Dykes has what it takes to play international football.

When asked that very question on BBC Radio Scotland, Holt replied: "Definitely. You saw that today, live on TV. Every game he has been exceptional for us, he wants to learn and work hard for his team-mates.

"He is a Livi type of player. He’s said it himself. He’s learning the game with us because he’s the focal point for our team and that’s not something he’s used to greatly. He was brilliant. He gets fired in."

Speaking to Sky Sports, Livingston goal hero Lyndon Dykes said: "I just do my best.

"I'm glad I got the goal and we won the game. I made a little run and saw Fraz coming off his line, lucky enough I got it high enough to get it over him.

"I think we deserved to lose some of the games we lost but I thought we deserved this."

What. A. Result. Livingston have been magnificent today against 10-man Celtic. The hosts have been combative, tireless, and delivered some moments of supreme class.

Ryan Christie's dreadful red-card tackle on Scott Robinson gave them a leg up, but their second-half goals from Scott Robinson and Lyndon Dykes were glorious.

A four-game losing streak is brought to a shuddering halt. Celtic lose for the first time in domestic football this season. Livi beat the champions for the first time ever.

And this is a result that will be greeted just as raucously in Govan as it is in West Lothian - Rangers, up against Hamilton Accies today, can top the Scottish Premiership with a win later today.

That's a shocker from Keaghan Jacobs on his 300th Livingston outing. He needlessly scythes down Kristoffer Ajer and is shown a yellow card. That could have been red.

Mohamed Elyounoussi is next to scamper deep into the Livi box, but his cut-back too is cleared. The home side have handled pretty much anything thrown at them by the champions today.

Livi are almost over the line. Celtic aren't really showing any signs of life, although Odsonne Edouard briefly scurries past a couple of challenges before his shot is deflected over.

It's all spilling over a bit now as Christopher Jullien, who has taken a few heavy blows, is left flattened by an aerial duel.

Ricki Lamie comes across and has a word in the face of the prone Frenchman, who leaps to his feet to confront the Livi man.

Cue much pointing of fingers, offers to meet in the car park to settle differences, and a yellow card apiece. Not very classy from Lamie, that.

We're being treated to a rare sight of the bold Lee Miller, the 36-year-old replacing goalscorer Lyndon Dykes, who has taken a bang.

It's Miller's third outing of the season and first since early August.

Right then, Celtic need a goal, and they need it now. Vakoun Bayo wins a free-kick 30 yards out, left of centre. Olivier Ntcham blasts it right into the midriff of Steve Lawson, who has come on for goalscorer Robinson.

When a striker gets a fancy new barnet, he needs to back it up. I'm not convinced by Lyndon Dykes' new look, but boy has he put on a show today.

The Australian has been dynamic, aggressive, and laced his display with some lovely technical flourishes, this delightful lob for Livingston's second goal the pick of them.
