  2. 'A beautiful ball from Saka'published at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Liverpool defender on Radio 5 Live

It's lazy play from Harvey Elliott, he tries to play a square pass and its intercepted. It was a lovely ball from Ozil to Saka and then a beautiful ball from Saka.

The movement from Saka was brilliant. Once he knew Mesut Ozil was getting the ball, he was on his way because he knew that Ozil would find him.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Wolves

Signs that the hosts are starting to build some pressure at Villa Park.

Villa's Conor Hourihane sees his free-kick blocked and Douglas Luiz then blasts an effort into a Wolves defender.

    Resolute stuff from the visitors.

    Liverpool 1-3 Arsenal

Mesut Ozil is enjoying himself, he now pirouettes into space and finds Ainsley Maitland-Niles on the overlap and his low cross is just about hacked clear.

Ozil starts and suddenly we look threatening going forward. Coincidence? I think not.

I'm the only one that doesn't see the hype in Keita? He hasn't done anything since he come to Liverpool.

    Henry

Hopefully the fans of Ox & Lallana are watching this match. So, so poor they're making Arsenal look good.

  7. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 1-3 Arsenalpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Gabriel Martinelli (36 mins)

    Predator!

If you play youngsters they will make mistakes, that's the way it goes. Harvey Elliott on the left wing plays it inside but misses Joe Gomez and finds Mesut Ozil instead.

Ozil helps it around the corner to Bukayo Saka, he squares it and that man Gabriel Martinelli is free to slam into the back of the net.

Liverpool's best spell in the last five minutes. It was good skill by Origi on the left-hand side. It was good defending by Mustafi in the end.

He looks like some signing. A loan spell in January?

Liverpool win a corner after a cracking ball from James Milner.

Lot of Liverpool fans moan on that Keita and Ox should start every game. They've been dreadful so far.

No sense of panic from the hosts despite falling behind, as Rhian Brewster floats a header on target. No real power behind it though.

Arsenal have responded really well. Ozil has been at the heart of everything that's happened. He's calm on the ball and picks the right passes.

Maitland-Niles skipped around Origi too easily, it was poor defending from him. It was another brilliant save from Kelleher initially.

What a turnaround in events this is.

  18. goal

GOAL - Liverpool 1-2 Arsenalpublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2019

    Gabriel Martinelli (26 mins)

Arsenal have turned this one around! A bit of a shambles at the back as Ainsley Maitland-Niles' cross is deflected on goal, Caoimhín Kelleher makes a sharp one-handed save but the fox in the box Gabriel Martinelli is there to lash into the roof of the net, Kop end.

"They've got a strong side too. It will be a good game. We had a good game against them on the opening day.

By the letter of the law it is a booking. He stopped a counter attack starting, it's a yellow card for me.
