    Leicester 2-0 Arsenal

How can a front three of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Ozil create so little? Arsenal have just had the one shot on target.

Don't forget, the former captain Granit Xhaka hasn't played since an angry altercation with the club's fans.

Arsenal already 14 points behind leaders Liverpool.

These are worrying times for Unai Emery and Arsenal on and off the field.

  2. YELLOW CARD - Bellerin (Arsenal)published at 88 mins

    Leicester 2-0 Arsenal

Hector Bellerin is shown a yellow for wiping out Jamie Vardy. Referee Chris Kavanagh let play go on but then went back to the Arsenal man, who was never going to get away with a blatant push on the Leicester striker.

However, Vardy is needing treatment and looks to be in pain when the physio prods his right elbow.

Matt HCK Williams: This Arsenal team is as wet and woeful as this downpour. Divided, leaderless and lacking guts. Credit to Leicester for exploiting it.

Nick Powell: Things are pretty bad at the moment but Emery needs to be given at least till the end of this season before we really know if his changes, both in terms of squad and style, have had a positive impact. You can't sack a manager every five mins and expect things to improve.

We have a very talented squad at arsenal who are underperforming under Emery. I think most clubs would part way with the manager now but I worry our owners won't want to pay the compensation and will keep him in place until the summer.....

Heartbreaking to watch as an Arsenal fan. No passion, no concentration, no bite. So sad. The manager is clearly struggling to organise and motivate #emeryout

  12. goal

GOAL - Leicester 2-0 Arsenalpublished at 76 mins

    James Maddison

Leicester double their lead. Brendan Rodgers punches the air and has a huge smile on his face. Not hard to see why.

It is another lovely goal from Leicester. Wilfried Ndidi is heavily involved in the build-up, he gives it to Jamie Vardy who sets it up perfectly for James Maddison and he strikes the ball through the legs of Hector Bellerin and into the bottom corner.

That's one goal and an assist for Vardy today. Maddison makes it 2-0 and it looks a long way back for the Gunners.

The rain is pouring, the air is icy cold but the Leicester fans don't care as the King Power Stadium erupts after that goal.

It was as much in relief as joy because this was starting to look like being an off day for the flying Foxes but with Jamie Vardy in their ranks they are always a danger.

The home fans are now urging on their team for more goals. They want Arsenal to be put to the sword.
