Brighton manager Graham Potter, speaking to BBC Sport: "It's a hard-earned point that we're happy with against a good opponent who are 11 matches unbeaten, they make it difficult for you with some very good players. Traore is especially difficult on the transition, when they turn the ball over they are so quick.

"We started off OK then they got back into it and scored, then and we had a bit of luck to keep it at one. We're disappointed to concede the second how we did but 2-2 was fair at half-time.

"We weren't quite at the level we've played at before but Wolves don't make it easy. We didn't do enough to influence that aspect of the game but I'm not going to be too hard on the players.

On a week where he side narrowly lost at Liverpool and then won at Arsenal before today's draw: "We probably played better at Liverpool than we did today and got nothing there. The Premier League can punish you and you have to take the results you get."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton manager Graham Potter speaking to Sky Sports: 'It was a good result for us against a really good team on the back of a tough away match against Arsenal.

"We’re happy, although it was not our best performance today.

'We had a bit of luck as they missed a couple of good opportunities, but I can't question the character of the boys, overall 2-2 at half-time was fair. We just needed to carry on and keep going in the second half.

"Wolves are not easy to break down: they are not eleven games unbeaten in the league for nothing."

Wolves have not lost in their past 11 league matches, equalling a 57-year record with today's point on the south coast.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side can go one better than Stan Cullis's men when they host Spurs next Sunday.

Then they go head first into a busy festive period which includes matches against Manchester City and Liverpool.

Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo speaking to Match of the Day: "It was a tough game, competitive and emotional.

"I am proud of how we stayed organised. We did not do well when he had to restart the game after the 1-1: we should not have played a horizontal pass that was intercepted.

"We are very proud of what we are achieving day by day but we want to keep on going, we need to compete and prepare ourselves for the last game in the Europa League.

"The hardest part of the fixtures is going to start now: it will be tough for everybody."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton striker Neal Maupay on his equaliser: "I hit it early deliberately to try and catch the keeper out. The quicker you shoot the harder it is them to save it because they don't have time to get ready.

"Two goals in a week is a good week. We had a great win on Thursday but unfortunately we couldn't get them today."

On his sixth goal of the season since joining from Brentford in the summer: "It's my first season in the Premier League, so I'm trying to settle in.

"I think I'm doing alright, I'm happy with goals so far but I want more. I've got six goals but I can do more.

"I work hard every day to get better and keep pushing to be more efficient and for the team to win more games."

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton striker Neal Maupay, speaking to BBC Sport: "It was a tough game for us, the third game of the week is never easy, especially against a good team.

"We didn't start very well and gave chances away, but we kept pushing and scored two goals.

"I thought we were going to win because we were back in the game with the crowd pushing us. But we made a mistake for them to score the second goal.

"We had a couple of chances in the second half. We're not happy but we will take it. Overall I think it is a good point.

"We were a bit tired and missed a bit of sharpness."

Wolves

Wolves captain Conor Coady speaking to Sky Sport:"It is a good point against a good team who played well from the back. We were in control so it was a bit disappointing to concede two goals.

'We are resilient: we know how to come back into games and win in different ways.

'But we want to take the lead and stay in the lead, it is also up to us to defend better."

Goalscorer Diogo Jota:"When you score two goals you want to score one more, I am happy to help the team but I'd switch scoring a brace for a win today."

I think both managers will be really pleased, both teams looked like they knew what they were doing.

I think Wolves were much more protective in the second half, but it was a very good technical game.

The best player on the pitch was Mooy, he was a class act.

Wolves scorer Diogo Jota is still complaining about the penalty that never was (see 60 mins). "I know it was handball," he says.

So how does that leave us? Wolves climb back up to sixth with the draw, level on points with Manchester United. Brighton stay in 12th place, Arsenal above them on goal difference.

A draw will have to do. An entertaining Sunday afternoon for all.

The second half didn't quite match the first, but plenty of enjoyment all round. Beats a Christmas shopping trip to Churchill Square.

Joao Moutinho knows how to deliver from these positions. Ah. The Wolves midfielder overcooks it. Waste.

Another free-kick for Wolves, another yellow card for Brighton. Any idea who was fouled? Yes. Adama Traore.

This is in a really dangerous place. And Dale Stephens, the offender, knows it. Twenty yards out, right corner of the box...

Three minutes for one of these sluggers to produce a knockout punch.

Adama Traore, with more twists and turns than Alton Towers, can't deliver and goes back to Ruben Neves. He picks out Patrick Cutrone, but his header is scruffy and can't trouble Mat Ryan.

Dan Burn goes long in the search of Brighton team-mate Neal Maupay on the left. Even he can't catch that. Even Adama Traore wouldn't have caught that.

Still time for a winner...

Brighton defender Adam Webster switches off for a moment, allowing Wolves sub Pedro Neto to get in behind on the left. But the hosts manage to get bodies back and Mat Ryan gratefully picks up a loose ball to avert the danger.
