They are playing some good stuff Brighton, they are knocking the ball around.

Mooy again is at the centre of things: he has been terrific. It really feels like an even game now.

Seems a few Brighton fans are getting huffy when their team is playing the ball around at the back and not being more incisive. Maybe I'm getting the wrong end of the stick.

Dan Burn tries to dance down the left flank with a drop of the shoulder that would make Arjen Robben's YouTube reel.

Unfortunately the rest doesn't quite match the Dutchman's level.

There are a lot of games where the full pitch does not get used often, but this game has been all over the pitch: every part has been used.

There are areas to exploit if you have the ability to do it, and Wolves at the top of the pitch look like they have a better edge than Brighton and this could be the difference in the end.

Can Brighton capitalise from the set-piece? In short, no. Wolves half clear, only to Leandro Trossard. His effort troubles the ball kids, not Rui Patricio.

Neal Maupay would be a pain to mark. Lots of sharp movement and only needs an inch or two to get his shot away.

This time the Brighton striker forces a corner with a quick-thinking strike from 25 yards.

Brighton have been most effective when they have picked out a quick forward pass. Don't mistake them for long lumps up top, they are measured and precise after the Seagulls patiently build up.

This time, however, Steven Alzate's cross is a little too strong for Neal Maupay.

Diogo Jota, chasing a hat-trick remember, harries after a quick ball forward down the left. Mat Ryan is alert and races out of his box to clear. Sweeper keeping at its finest.

There is a lot to like about Neal Maupay. A neat cushioned touch sets Pascal Gross scampering down the left, his cross met by a swinging size 10 from Conor Coady. And that sets Wolves off on the prowl...

Almost another goal! Matt Doherty wanders forward into a central position as he drifts in from the right, glancing a header towards the far post where Mat Ryan gathers at the second attempt.

A great half of football, great quality from both teams: Mooy ad Stephens were outstanding , Jota looks on fire and Jimenez caused problems with his pace.

It is the right result: Ryan made two important saves, I think Webster look shaky and there’s a lot coming down his side and he needs a word at half-time.
