There's a sense of inevitability about Tottenham's play now. A man and two goals down, they are all but conceding defeat with minutes remaining of normal time.

It's the manner of the defeat that will hurt Tottenham. It's not often you watch a defeat and don't blame the players but today it has all come down to tactics. They have been outclassed in tactics today.

VAR pops up from nowhere to say it is checking a potential penalty for Tottenham.

Replays show an incident with Dele Alli is being looked at but confirms the foul took place just outside the area and it is a free kick only.

There's just been a second announcement over the loud speakers about racism interfering with the game.

"Racist behaviour from spectators is interfering with the game," the announcement said. "Please remember that racism has no place in football."

With the technology they have in this stadium, I would be shocked if they could not pinpoint the individual. That person will be isolated and dealt with accordingly. There is no place for it but I want more than an announcement. I do not want them back in the stadium ever again. The behaviour is what it is, sadly some people are that ignorant. Protocol has been activated now it needs to be dealt with for the individual or individuals.

Antonio Rudiger blocks Davinson Sánchez's run and the Chelsea defender is the eighth player to be booked in a hot tempered game.

Tottenham are plugging away but there's very little pattern to their play. All a bit hopeful.

I have to say that did not feel like violent conduct to me. They keep going on about the threshold and I do not think that classes as violent conduct. Rudiger has a lot to answer for for his reaction. I don't think it warrants a red card. He has reacted and that is wrong but it is not violent conduct. Poor decision.
