  1. CLOSE!published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Bournemouth 1-1 Arsenal

Big chance for Arsenal as Alexandre Lacazette appears to get through on goal but he hesitates long enough for a Bournemouth player to get back and deflect his shot behind for a corner.

    Aston Villa 1-0 Norwich

As it stands with Watford leading, that Villa goal sends Norwich bottom of the table.

    Cheikhou Kouyate (68 mins)

    Crystal Palace are level!

And it's Cheikhou Kouyate against his former club.

James McArthur stands a cross up to the back post for Jordan Ayew to nod back towards the Palace midfielder, and Kouyate guides it past West Ham stopper Roberto on the volley.

  4. 'Arsenal look disillusioned'published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Bournemouth 1-1 Arsenal

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on BBC 5 Live

I am going to show Arsenal some sympathy here. This is their third manager in a month. They look a little bit disillusioned. I am not sure whether they want it enough, they have had plenty of possession. Of course as I say all this they score. This goal gets them back in it and now they have to go on and win. This game is there for the taking for both teams. Arsenal have had most of the possession but they are not clinical enough.

  5. Postpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Watford

John Lundstram has three goals to his name this season and clearly isn't shy to have a shot on goal.

He tries his luck from the edge of the box and catches it well enough but there's not enough dip and the ball sails over the bar.

  6. goal

GOAL - Aston Villa 1-0 Norwichpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Conor Hourihane (66 mins)

    Norwich punished.

The Canaries missed plenty of chances and are made to pay.

It is a sumptuous goal from Aston Villa as Conor Hourihane exchanges passes with skipper Jack Grealish before curling a first-time, left-footed strike into the top corner.

  7. CLOSE!published at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Chelsea 0-1 Southampton

This should be two and Nathan Redmond knows it.

Chelsea sliced open at the back through Stuart Armstrong's pass, but Redmond's shot from inside the box is straight at goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

  8. Postpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

Hope Carlo Ancelotti's brought his thermals. It's bleak on the blue side of Stanley Park this afternoon. A first goal from his new side might warm the Italian up. Everton have struggled to create much since the break, and Gylfi Sigurdsson's corner is easily cleared by the visitors.

  9. Postpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Crystal Palace 0-1 West Ham

Robert Snodgrass loves scoring against Crystal Palace. He's netted four league goals against the Eagles – only against Bristol City (five) has he bagged more in English league competition.

  10. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 1-1 Arsenalpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (63 mins)

Nice instinctive finish and Arsenal are level!

Reiss Nelson's strike from just inside the box deflects to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lurking near the far post and the striker reacts quickly to tuck in with Arsenal's first shot on target.

The Gunners are level, can they now build on this and get the win?

  11. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Bournemouth 1-0 Arsenal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pulls the ball back, hoping to find Alexandre Lacazette inside the box but his strike partner is not there. The build up play is decent from Arsenal but they are just not getting in the right places inside the box.

  12. Postpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Everton 0-0 Burnley

Burnley have been very solid defensively, but they're also a danger on the break.

Everton fail to spot Robbie Brady arriving at the far post unmarked but the Clarets midfielder attempts to head the ball back across goal instead of going for the target himself.

    Should've tested Jordan Pickford.

  13. CLOSE!published at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Aston Villa 0-0 Norwich

Will Norwich's missed chances come back to haunt them?

Max Aarons picks out Sam Byrams at the back stick, but the defender's diving head sails just wide of the far post.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Watford

Back under way in this one. The start of the game had been delayed 10 minutes because of what Sheffield United described as operational issues.

Watford, meanwhile, have made that change that was teased at the end of the first half as Roberto Pereyra replaces Ismaila Sarr.

  15. CLOSE!published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Chelsea 0-1 Southampton

Mason Mount has really made a difference for Chelsea.

The midfielder slips a lovely defence-splitting ball through to Tammy Abraham, but Saints defender Jack Stephens sniffs the danger and comes across to make a vital interception.

  16. CLOSE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Crystal Palace 0-1 West Ham

    It's getting lively now.

Wilfried Zaha and Patrick van Aanholt combine in the Hammers penalty area before the left-back drags his strike across goal and wide of the far post.

Crystal Palace looking to hit back immediately.

  17. Postpublished at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Chelsea 0-1 Southampton

Chelsea's passing is all side-to-side are most of their shots are coming from distance.

Southampton will take that, only 35 more minutes to hold out.

  18. goal

GOAL - Crystal Palace 0-1 West Hampublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Robert Snodgrass (57 mins)

    Out of nothing!

I was just about to say Crystal Palace were looking threatening, but it's the visitors who open the scoring...

Michail Antonio shifts a lovely pass into the path of Robert Snodgrass inside the box and the Hammers midfielder opens up his body to curl a left-footed effort inside the far post.

    Neat finish.

  19. 'Hard for Villa this season'published at 63 mins

    Aston Villa 0-0 Norwich City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's going to be hard for Aston Villa this season but I think they have played quite well at various points - then you look at the league table and they are struggling. It's a real shame for Villa because the fans have been brilliant and have stood by them but they can't seem to get out of it.

  20. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 26 December 2019

    Bournemouth 1-0 Arsenal

Couple of bookings in quick succession for Arsenal as first Lucas Torreira is shown a yellow card for a late challenge before Ainsley Maitland-Niles is penalised for halting Jack Stacey's charge down the flank. Nothing comes of the second Bournemouth free kick, however.
