I think Arsenal are playing really well just now. If you watched Arsenal early this season, the pace they would play it out from the back, it was slow and sluggish but now, they are zipping it about so much better. They're also closing down high up the pitch as well.

Chelsea 0-1 Southampton

Southampton defender Jan Bednarek is flat out, he has just been smashed in the face by an N'Golo Kante cross.

Southampton nearly get a second at Stamford Bridge.

Nathan Redmond's run cuts open Chelsea at the back, he pulls a cross back which rolls all the way through the six-yard area and Che Adams is waiting for a tap-in, but Fikayo Tomori stretches out a foot to get an all-important touch on the ball and divert it away from goal.

Jordan Ayew is down for Crystal Palace, clutching his face. Think he'll be OK.

Good news for Palace fans and lovers of goals... 73% of the Eagles' goals this season have come in the second half. So hopefully that means we won't be getting a 0-0 draw.

Quite something that Arsenal can have so many touches inside the opposition's box (they are attacking the goal at the top of this graphic) and yet not manage a shot on target.

Mason Mount is coming on. Frank Lampard sees so much in him, and without Frank I think Mount would be a player that no-one knows much about. Young players are always going to be inconsistent. He has had two or three okay game but I like his energy. He always looks like he is enjoying himself on the pitch.

Jay Rodriguez takes the ball down neatly, lets it bounce and then rips a half-volley towards... the corner flag, in fact it trickles out for a throw.

The substitution almost pays immediate dividends at the start of the second half.
