We have a half-time proposal at Goodison Park. Toffees fans Christian and Emily take to the middle of the pitch, Christian, armed with the stadium microphone, drops to one knee and asks his partner to marry him.

He gets the answer he is looking for and he celebrates like he’s volleyed in a last-minute winner. The happy couple embrace and Emily is in tears of joy as they walk off the pitch together. Lovely.

Congratulations to them.

There was just one shot on target at Selhurst Park in the first half. And that came from about 25 yards. Crystal Palace probably the slightly better side in the opening 45 minutes. But this game has some going to not find itself sitting last on Match of the Day...

As we come towards the half-times here, it's Chelsea who have the biggest problem. They'll need to change things quickly if they don't score before the break. You have to think that one of their centre-backs will have to come off? You can't play with three if you're one nil down at home.

Couple of minutes to half time, can Southampton hang on until the interval?
