Brendan Rodgers needs to deliver a big team talk to his Leicester players at half time. They've offered no attacking threat and looked nervous at the back.

An excellent away performance from Liverpool so far, who haven't looked fazed by the potential importance of this game in their title bid.

Liverpool have been dominant and Leicester City have looked a bag of nerves at the back - and this is not the attack to be nervous against.

Youri Tielemans slips in his Belgium team-mate Dennis Praet on the left side of the box but Joe Gomez covers well to force Praet to turn back on himself and ultimately lose the ball.

Oh should be 2-0! Sadio Mane manages to squeeze his way through the Leicester defence but Kasper Schmeichel makes a vital save to keep the hosts in this.

Ricardo Pereira puts the ball behind and Liverpool have their third corner of the game. Andy Robertson's delivery is cleared but Liverpool pick up the loose ball and attack again.

This may explain why the Premier League's top scorer has had so few touches so far.

A marked man...

Dennis Praet gets inbetween the Liverpool defence but his first touch is poor as he chests the ball towards Virgil van Dijk and the defender deals with the danger.

Better from Leicester, though.

Good feet from Ricardo Pereira allows the Leicester fullback to run towards the edge of the area but he then gets the ball trapped under him and Liverpool clear the danger.

No shots on or off target yet from Leicester. Jamie Vardy has had just one touch of the ball so far.

Not conceding the first goal seems to be the gameplan for this stage of the game.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp looks a little agitated on the touchline as he grits his teeth and gives a mini fist pump to urge his players on. His side have certainly had the better of the opening 20 minutes or so but no real efforts to trouble Kasper Schmeichel yet.

Wilfred Ndidi has two nibbles at Naby Keita after the Liverpool man had crept into the box via Mo Salah's pass, the second challenge gets the ball away from danger.

The atmosphere in the stands reflects the nervousness in the Leicester defence. It is subdued, with the Foxes looking vulnerable at the back.

Still Liverpool have, so far, been wasteful with the opportunities that have been offered to them.

Wilfred Ndidi gives the ball away and Jordan Henderson is onto the loose ball. He shoots and the ball loops just beyond the post via a deflection.

Trent Alexander-Arnold's delivery from the corner is then headed away at the near post.

Timely interception by Jonny Evans as he cuts out a ball into the box with Roberto Firmino primed to fire home just behind him.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is scribbling furiously and he will have real concerns about this start from his side.

It has been nervous and careless - luckily for the Foxes Liverpool's finishing has also been careless so they have got away with it.

So far.

Oooh let off for Leicester as Liverpool counter quickly through Naby Keita. He lofts the ball over the defence and Mo Salah is in on goal. Kasper Schmeichel, alert to the danger, is off his line quickly and Salah tries to take it round the keeper but his touch is heavy, taking him away from the empty net and he ends up putting his shot into the sidenetting.
