    FT: Arsenal 2-0 Man Utd

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

There is quality in this Arsenal and now there is team spirit as well. Mesut Ozil had work rate tonight. I have just said that sentence! It's not over complicated - get the best out of your strikers and Nicolas Pepe and you are on the right path. You have to get them up for it. It's one thing doing it for two or three games, but it's doing it beyond that which is a massive test for Mikel Arteta.

Thumbs up this comment if you have watched four Premier League games back to back. In fact tweet #bbcfootball if you haven't left the sofa all day.

    Arsenal 2-0 Man Utd

Arsenal were excellent in the first half and ground it out in the second.

The best thing I can say about United is they were OK in little pockets. But just OK.

Kevlar: Until Ed Woodward and the Glaziers go, this is United. It wouldn’t matter who the Manager is, you can only pick from what you have. Needs a clear out. As for Pogba I think he’s only played to prove he’s fit and hopefully that’s enough to get him out too.

Ayman: After this game I want Manchester United to come out and say since the summer we been working on signing players. Joining us on the 2nd January is...... this is what I want to hear!

RegularJon: Man Utd 2-0 down, with seven minutes to go and still moving the ball so slowly. Joke of a team.

Arsenal are just winning little free-kicks and taking their time, as they look to see out this game.

    Arsenal 2-0 Man Utd

Arsenal should make it 3-0. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaves Fred on the turf as he speeds away down the left. He just needs to roll the ball along the floor for Reiss Nelson in the centre, but his cross is at chest height and Nelson can't control it.

Corner for United now as Fred blasts in a shot from outside the box, which is blocked. The corner comes to nothing.

David: If Salah or Mane go down in the box like that they get slated. Embarrassing by Wan-Bissaka. Then again he did learn from the best in Ashley Young.

Kyle: Pogba might frustrate people at times but he is definitely their best player and they miss him when he isn't playing a midfield 2 of Matic and Fred is all graft and no craft.

Olamide: Arsenal teaching other big teams how to cope with Manchester United's counter-attacks. We're doomed. Watch City cream us home and away. Wolves will rush us also. Let's go ahead and let this window close shut without any midfield additions. We'll weep.
