The thing about the goal is, Balbuena's made the run but none of the other West Ham players have moved or reacted. So, if he had received the ball successfully and turned, the options wouldn't have been there anyway, so all he could've done is knock it long himself.

West Ham are exposed at the back as they chase the game and Sheffield United break.
Lys Mousset's first touch lets him down but he is able to get the ball across goal before John Lundstam's shot is blocked by Aaron Cresswell. From the resulting corner, Lundstram heads wide.

It's horrible when you make mistake as a goalkeeper. You just want the ground to swallow you up. In my own brain I would be saying 'look, I'm going to make one of these every now and again, it's happened, let's make sure it doesn't happen again for a long time.'

It's a difficult and horrible one. David Martin went as big as he could and if he had dived along the floor, he would've saved it. But it's crept underneath him and in a tight game like this, it was something out of nothing and like off the playground. Frustrations for managers as you can plan for most things but not for something like that.

That goal has got the Blades' tails up while West Ham look rattled. The visitors again give up possession in defence but this time Sheffield United cannot capitalise.

The Blades are given an absolute gift as David Martin's sloppy pass to Fabian Balbuena is pounced on by John Fleck, who then squares to Oli McBurnie and the striker fires under Martin's body for the opener.

It wasn't a good clearance by Fabian Balbuena and he Pablo Zabaleta were like statues in front of the strike - they didn't want to give away a penalty. It was a tough chance but in the context of the game, a big one.

John Fleck's shot smacks into Pablo Zabaleta's body and the loose ball falls invitingly to Fleck again but he sweeps his follow up just wide of the far post.
That's probably the closest the Blades have come to the opener.

One thing to keep an eye on in this half. David McGoldrick is two shots away from having the most shots without scoring in Premier League history.
He's such a hard worker and has played an important role in helping the Blades to where they are this season, but he'll be desperate to see the back of that net bulging.
