I think Ryan Fraser and Harry Wilson have got licence to keep swapping and changing and they're good when they actually go really narrow and combine with each other. On the flip side, that does leave Bournemouth vulnerable in the counter-attack but in possession when they go narrow, they are causing Watford a lot of problems.

Every time Bournemouth go forward, Watford win it back but they have got to counter a lot quicker, because Bournemouth just don't get back. There's an opportunity to really catch them because the Bournemouth midfield line are out the game when they give it away.

As well as Watford's high pressing, their extra man in central midfield has meant Bournemouth's best spells have been when they've got the ball wide.

The atmosphere in the stands is a little nervy, and there's not much emotion shown in the technical areas. Nigel Pearson and his assistant Craig Shakespeare have grabbed a bottle of water apiece while their opposite numbers Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall stand, arms folded, impassive.

We've just had two minutes of absolute dross. It ends with Ismaila Sarr losing the ball in the glaring sun and it bouncing over his head for a throw in.

To me, Watford don't look like a team that will go down.

They're organised and hard-working just for starters. Nigel Pearson has done such a good job in a small period of time.

You can sense anxiety in and around the stadium. Ryan Fraser had the opportunity to play the ball forward but he didn't really have the confidence, so the crowd turned on him a little bit, The fans want to see him play it forward, they want to see Bournemouth play front-footed, in possession football.

Watford have conceded just four goals in Nigel Pearson's five matches in charge, having let in 30 in the first 16 games of the season.

Ben Foster fumbles a cross from the right but Troy Deeney is there to clear.

To be fair, Watford are causing this uncertainty in the Bournemouth back line. The Hornets' pressing is excellent. Gerard Deulofeu is leading the way.

Bournemouth keep giving the ball away in key areas but what good, intricate play in the box Watford. Mark Travers has made a good save down at his near post but what a good ball through to Gerard Deulofeu.

One or two grumbles are coming from the stands now. We're not at full "just hoof it" but the home fans are frustrated at their side's failure to play out from the back.

Bournemouth cause themselves a problem again. Simon Francis is the latest to give the ball away at the back and Gerard Deulofeu is in down the left side of the box.

The Spaniard tries to beat Mark Travers at the near post but the Ireland international saves well.

After a decent start this has got a bit... 18th v 19th.
