Nigel Pearson has dragged Watford out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.

It was a massive counter-attack and Roberto Pereyra has absolutely slotted in in. Confident finish, good little strike and you just see how deflated Bournemouth are.

I always felt once Troy Deeney got back into the Watford side, he would make a big difference. Watford haven't had good possession against other teams but he's so reliable he can win first balls, second balls, you can launch it into him and he can protect the ball. Ultimately, he's a leader and when you are in a dog fight - which they were in and still are - you need someone to stand up and with Troy Deeney leading your line, that's exactly what you get. Bournemouth would love him now.

Watford should have scored three in this game. Once again they are not quite at their clinical best and a chance goes begging.

Gerard Deulofeu is taken off in the final minute and Andre Gray comes on. Nigel Pearson seems to have made a point of speaking to each of the three players he has taken off today.

Kyle Kowal: I genuinely thought Watford would be relegated this season... They might do enough to stay up. The gaff is doing a good job here.

The home fans are starting to drift away. This game is done.

Nathan Davies: Bournemouth are six points off 13th. You can't sack a manager of a mid-to-low table club every time they have a few negative results - it would be totally short-sighted to replace Howe.

Watford goalscorer Abdoulaye Doucoure is replaced by Domingos Quina for the final few minutes.

I'm not sure I could tell you who is playing where for Bournemouth now. They're trying to go for it but it's just a bit of a mess.

I'd be really worried if I was a Cherries fan.

It's tough for Bournemouth at the moment. They are trying to change shape and currently have Ryan Fraser playing at left-back but that's pushing one of your creative players further back. Eddie Howe has tried to keep his most creative players on the pitch and if that's what he has to do then, that's what he has to do. He's trying to put out fires left, right and centre and it's just not working. Bournemouth are just not good enough.

Here comes Pereyra. He replaces Ismaila Sarr who is really starting to get to grips with the Premier League.

Sarr doesn't look too pleased to be taken off. He knows there's a decent chance of another goal out there for Watford's attackers.

Roberto Pereyra, spared a suspension today after his FA Cup red card was overturned, is energetically warming up as Watford prepare their first change.

Dominic Solanke has been on the pitch for 80-odd minutes now and I don't think I've written his name once. He's had one touch in the Watford penalty area.

Bournemouth are really having to go for it now but they are leaving themselves vulnerable at the back - but they have to do it. They are at home, there's 20 minutes or so to go, they have to go for it soon in such a critical game in the bottom half of the table.

Another formation change. Ryan Fraser is now covering pretty much the entire left-hand side, with Adam Smith pushed into Harry Wilson's role on the right of midfield. Sam Surridge is up top with Callum Wilson, with Dominic Solanke playing just behind then.

The Watford fans continue to taunt the opposition. Bournemouth just don't look like scoring. They're out of ideas and keep giving the ball away.
