Burnley are showing some real grit now. Ricardo is again found on the right but his cross into danger is headed away by James Tarkowski.

Evans swings a leg at it but doesn't get a good contact and it bounces so kindly for Westwood who just meets it on the half-volley and drills it. It's a clean strike, a good strike and the look on his face was just sheer relief and jubilation.

Leicester come again and Jamie Vardy is found beyond the Burnley defence by a neat Iheanacho pass. The striker takes a touch and strikes but too close to Pope, who blocks.

Nick Pope saving a Jamie Vardy penalty is the first example of an English goalkeeper saving an English player's penalty in the Premier League since November 2017, when Joe Hart saved a Wayne Rooney penalty.

James Maddison has two chances to shoot from the edge of the box during a prolonged period of Leicester pressure. Did Ben Mee move his arm slightly to the left to block the first in the box? Possibly. Not so much that there is any cries for a penalty, other than from the away fans. The second is also blocked as Burnley survive.
