Daniel James and Luke Shaw start with Mason Greenwood on the bench. Juan Mata, who scored the winner against Wolves, is also among the substitutes.

Burnley win a corner from a deflected Dwight McNeil free-kick.

It is swung into the mixer but punched away (just) by Kasper Schmeichel.

Leicester look to break but Perez's attempted pass to release Vardy is just cut out.

    Gripping stuff now.

Fantastic save, wonderful save. A massive moment in the game. A massive moment for Nick Pope. Vardy has a history of blasting them straight but this one he sidefoots to Nick Pope's left and it's a comfortable, comfortable save.

How big a moment could that be, not only in this game but in Burnley's season?

  8. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 67 mins

    Pope to the rescue!

Vardy had a long time to wait to take the spot-kick with the VAR check but when he does take it is a poor effort. A good height to Pope's left and the keeper dives correctly and pushes it away.

The ball is fired back in from the right but just in front of a sliding City man at the back post.

    Massive moment.

Barnes takes on Mee in the box and in a tangle of legs goes down. The ref takes a look and his time before pointing to the spot.

Mee gets a booking and City have a chance to retake the lead.

Leicester can't half shift the ball when they spy an opening.

Burnley are cut open again as they initially go down the right before Barnes tees up Maddison for a shot that is saved easily by Pope.

Maddison goes down again, this time following a challenge from Phil Bardsley. Looks like his foot got stood on. Not that this flies with the Burnley fans. They've got their hate figure for the afternoon.

Chris Wood has scored nine goals in the Premier League this season, just one short of his best return in a single campaign (10 in 2017-18 and 2018-19).

Kasper Schmeichel thinks about going to the far post but there is such a big crowd there he decides not to. Header down into the ground, he gets a palm on the ball, parries it away from goal but just leaves it in the middle of the goal. It is a good save from Kasper Schmeichel because he is at full stretch but it just fell really nicely for Chris Wood and Burnley desperately needed that.

Leicester carve through Burnley down the right as Ricardo finds Perez, who feeds the ball on to Barnes. But his low shot is weak and easily saved.

James Maddison is not winning friends in these parts. He dwells on the ball on the edge of the box after a Leicester break and goes down softly under a challenge.

The home fans clearly think the midfielder was looking for something having wasted the initial opening. They're right too. And the referee agrees.
