  1. Clarke: I have to move on from frustrating call-offspublished at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2019

    Cyprus v Scotland (14:00)

Steve Clarke spoke to the media yesterday ahead of today's clash and although the Scotland head coach wasn't willing to give any hints over who would be playing, he didn't exactly hide his anger at players constantly dropping out of a team he is trying to prepare for play-off games in March.

The former Kilmarnock miracle-worker was also on hand to point out that he has seen a notable improvement in the national side since he took over, but admitted that none of that would matter if they don't keep winning games.

  2. Gallagher makes debut, Naismith gets 50th cappublished at 13:06 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2019

    Cyprus v Scotland (14:00)

Steve Clarke has made no less than six changes to the side that beat San Marino 6-0 in October.

In defence Declan Gallagher makes his debut in a Scotland shirt and sits alongside Scott McKenna. They both replace Stuart Findlay and Michael Devlin. David Marshall has come in for Jon McLaughlin and Greg Taylor replaces the injured Andy Robertson.

In midfield Rangers' in-form midfield maestro Ryan Jack has been asked to step in for Scott McTominay, who dropped out of the side due to injury.

Up front Steven Naismith has been called up to make his 50th cap for Scotland. He leads the line in place of Lawrance Shankland, who has been dropped to the bench.

  4. The Cypriot conundrumpublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2019

    Cyprus v Scotland (14:00)

Welcome to today's coverage of Scotland's clash with Cyprus at the Pancyprian Gymnastic Association Stadium.

Although neither team can qualify for Euro 2020 from Group I, the race is still very much on to see who can finish third and reclaim some semblance of dignity in a group that Belgium and Russia barely broke a sweat qualifying from.

Steve Clarke's preparations for this game - and the following clash with Kazakhstan on Tuesday - has been dogged by numerous injuries to key players. However, Scotland should still have enough about them to challenge for all three points.

Let's see how things pan out.
