  1. 'We need to maintain our attacking threat' - McInnespublished at 15:01

    St Johnstone 0-0 Aberdeen

On today's team selection, Derek McInnes added: "Craig Bryson's training has been affected with the ongoing ankle issue he has, so he's not got 90 minutes in him. We need to maintain our attacking threat with our two up top and Ryan Hedges and Niall McGinn on the wings. When you look at St Johnstone's team it's a good side with players that can hurt you, so we need to make sure we are on our mettle."

  6. 'Considine joins elite group' - McInnespublished at 14:49

    St Johnstone v Aberdeen (15:00)

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Sportsound: "It was quite an obvious thing to do to make him [Andrew Considine on his 500th appearance] captain today. I've spoke often enough about his quality, but it means everything to him to join that elite group today. He just goes quietly about business.

I've seen St Johnstone three or four times this season and their Achilles heel has been their defence. That's why Aberdeen have gone with two up front and they're going for that Achilles heel

  10. Gerrard happy with result if not displaypublished at 14:30

    FT: Hamilton Accies 1-3 Rangers

Steven Gerrard speaking to BT Sport: "At times we have to go and get the second goal quicker. We were poor for Hamilton's goal, we were poor on three or four occasions throughout the game where we haven’t won the first header and we haven’t been in the right position to cover.

Steven Gerrard was keen to accentuate the positives following Rangers' victory

"But we’ve won 3-1 away from home after the international break, so we have to take those positives. We can’t run the chance with our performance like that. We have to try to perform at a better level so the result’s not at risk as it could have been in the final stages."

  11. 'I'm really proud of the boys' - Ricepublished at 14:24

    FT: Hamilton Accies 1-3 Rangers

Hamilton Accies manager Brian Rice tells BBC Sportsound: "I'm really proud of the boys today. We started the game fantastically well and Rangers, with their first attack, scored a goal.

"We fight back into the game and score an equaliser. It then takes a fantastic strike to put Rangers into the lead at half-time.

Brian Rice said Accies were unable to match Rangers' finishing in front of goal

"I said to the lads at half-time: 'I'm not happy at 2-1, let's try to have a bit of a go'. We knew the game would open up a little bit. We kept two strikers on the pitch all of the time and tried to be positive.

"The difference between us and the really good teams is the quality; the quality of their second goal and Ryan Kent was clinical with his third goal.

"That's what you get when you bring in really good players."

It's a beautiful finish from Ryan Kent. It's great awareness from Alfredo Morelos as well, he plays the pass so Kent can just step onto it

  15. FULL-TIME Hamilton Accies 1-3 Rangerspublished at 14:06

Ryan Kent-inspired Rangers remain on Celtic's coat-tails as the winger fires a double in a hard-fought victory over a stubborn Hamilton Accies. Lewis Smith cancelled out Ryan Jack's opener before Kent fired a contender for goal of the month.

Mickel Miller missed an open goal for the hosts and Rangers made them pay with Kent's second deep into injury time.

The upshot being that Rangers move level on points with league leaders Celtic, but remain second on goal difference.

I can't understand how Rangers have lost a grip of this. I can't see any notable tweaks from Accies, so I don't know if Rangers are tiring
