GOAL: Birmingham 0-1 QPRpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Grant Hall (45+1 mins)

If I told you this had been coming... I'd be lying. Queens Park Rangers, with their first shot on target, have gone ahead on the stroke of half-time.

The goal is a bit of a mess from Birmingham's point of view, as Blues fail to clear a free-kick into the box and after an almighty scrap inside the six-yard box it's eventually prodded in by Grant Hall.

A goal befitting of the game, really.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Swansea 1-1 Blackburn

Two goals inside the opening 10 minutes as Andre Ayew's header for Swansea cancelled out Danny Graham's early strike against his former club, meaning we're all square at the break at the Liberty Stadium.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Wigan 0-0 West Brom

Wigan have pretty much dominated everything but the scoreline, which remains goalless.

Not looking like second v second-from-bottom so far on the balance of that first half.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Barnsley 0-0 Reading

Barnsley have been the better side in this one, but it remains goalless.

  9. 'A desperately poor game'published at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Birmingham 0-0 QPR

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at St Andrew's

We're marching towards half-time at St Andrew’s. And still a desperately poor game. No shots on target yet. And little other to keep us warm to talk about in the press box than classic old Jim Smith tales... Oh yes, and that duck-egg blue QPR away strip, with the cleverly disguised numbers,

Opinion varies as to whether they have dressed up like this in homage to Birmingham’s weekend tenants this season, Coventry City, or whether QPR are simply rowing fans.

Next to the royal blue of their hosts’ shirts, it gives them the air of looking more like the Cambridge University boat race crew!

    Wigan 0-0 West Brom

Wigan threaten again to open the scoring as Gavin Massey sees a header flash narrowly over the crossbar.

Got decent contact on it as well from Lee Evans' cross from the left.

Last couple of minutes of the first half.

  12. Ayew everywherepublished at 20:27 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Swansea 1-1 Blackburn

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

Having recovered from the shock of going behind inside four minutes, Swansea have been the more menacing side here.

Andre Ayew levelled the scores and might easily have had a couple more.

Swansea's seven-goal leading scorer looks hungry to ensure end their five-game winless run tonight.

Blackburn, meantime, have not really threatened since Danny Graham's opener.

    Derby 0-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Derby struggling to get going after falling behind to Steven Fletcher's goal.

The Rams keep on conceding possession every time they try to get a move started while Cameron Dawson is yet to be forced into a save of note in Wednesday's goal.

Ten minutes to go until half-time and West Brom have barely had a sniff of goal.

It's Wigan with the better of the chances, but you wonder how much they may pay later on for not taking advantage so far.

Josh Windass and Jamal Lowe once again looking their main threats but unable to get their feet on the bouncing ball in the area.

    Barnsley 0-0 Reading

Charlie Adam nearly rolls back the years by taking a strike for Reading from distance.

Decent hit with his left foot but it's another good save from Sam Radlinger in the Barnsley goal away to his left.

  17. Postpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Wigan 0-0 West Brom

Wigan should be ahead here and they've been denied by some smart goalkeeping by Sam Johnstone.

He makes two quick saves to deny both Josh Windass with the initial drive and then Jamal Lowe on the follow-up.

    And Brentford have the lead!

It's a seventh of the season for Bryan Mbeumo as he pounces on some defensive laziness from Cardiff.

Said Benrahma slotted him in and Neil Etheridge sees the ball tucked underneath him.

  19. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Birmingham 0-0 QPR

We're still waiting for a shot on target at St Andrew's, but Birmingham have looked marginally the more likely.

Ivan Sunjic has sent a shot just wide from inside of the box, while 16-year-old Jude Bellingham's header looped onto the roof of the net.

  20. goal

GOAL: Derby 0-1 Sheffield Wednesdaypublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2019

    Steven Fletcher (23 mins)

Owls take the lead at Pride Park and they pounce on a defensive mistake from Derby.

A stray pass out the back is picked up by Barry Bannan, who then quickly shifts it to Steven Fletcher.

He sweeps it home beautifully with his left foot and the visitors lead.
