Just a hunch, but I reckon Birmingham are going to have a lot of defending to do in the final 30 minutes.

    They're doing alright so far.

The Blues fans are happy in the Tilton End again after seeing their side go back in front.

But it wasn’t a happy moment for young Albion defender Nathan Ferguson.

After being outjumped by Lukas Jutkiewicz for Blues’ first goal, this time it was his mistimed jump to try and keep out Harlee Dean’s looping header which blinded the view of Baggies keeper Sam Johnstone.

So now it’s all gone quiet at the Railway End.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 58 mins

    Birmingham 2-1 West Brom

    Here we go.

Blues midfielder Ivan Sunjic hacks down Matheus Pereira and the players pile in.

Sunjic is booked, everyone is furious for a bit, before it eventually calms down.

    It's getting tasty out there.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 57 mins

    Birmingham 2-1 West Brom

Baggies skipper Jake Livermore clatters into the back of David Davis. Booked.

  10. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Birmingham 2-1 West Brom

West Brom win a free-kick in a dangerous area on the left-hand side of the box as Ivan Sunjic brings down Hal Robson-Kanu.

But it's terrible from the usually magnificent Matheus Pereira. Overhit and straight out of play for a goal kick.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 52 mins

    Birmingham 2-1 West Brom

That's a yellow card all day long.

Lukas Jutkiewicz chops down Baggies full-back Nathan Ferguson as he looks to gallop away.

It's the first booking of this Second City derby.

  12. Postpublished at 51 mins

There's more goals in this game.

Baggies skipper Jake Livermore volleys one over from just inside the box.

    What a header that is!

Blues skipper Harlee Dean rises high at a corner and plants the ball past Sam Johnstone from about 15 yards.

It seemed too far out to score, but Sam Johnstone was beaten all ends up.

How are things going to pan out over the next 45 minutes? It's a tough one to call if that opening 45 is anything to go by.

  19. Shrimpers coach woepublished at 13:30 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2019

    Plymouth v Morecambe (15:00 GMT)

It's a six-hour coach journey on a good day, but it looks like Morecambe have had a stinker of a trip down to Plymouth for their League Two match.

It promises to be a tasty encounter with Shrimpers boss Derek Adams up against the side he managed for four years, but let's hope he and his squad make it to Home Park first!

    Friday's result: Charlton 2-2 Hull

Hull celebrate goalImage source, Rex Features

Charlton's winless run in the Championship continued on Friday as Hull scored a dramatic leveller in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Goals from Darren Pratley and Naby Sarr either side of Jarrod Bowen's for Hull, looked to have given the Addicks a crucial three points.

But Charlton goalkeeper Dillon Phillips fumbled the ball into his own net to deny them.
