Reading matchwinner John Swift told Sky Sports:

"It's definitely up there with one of the best I've hit in my career.

"You only score two or three of those in your career and luckily it's come tonight.

"Sitting on then bench for the last 10 minutes was agonising but the lads put the work in and ended up getting a good three points."

That victory lifts Reading to 15th in the Championship table, one place and three points behind tonight's opponents.
