Reading and QPR aren't troubling those at the top of the pile at the moment. But QPR are not that far off a play-off place despite a miserable couple of months.

They have lost five of their past 10, since a 2-2 draw at home to Reading in October, but two wins and only one defeat in five means they could end the night only four points off west London neighbours Fulham in sixth spot.

And a win tonight for the Royals and they will begin to think that Mark Bowen could just get them in with a shout of a promotion chase in the second half of the season.

A second consecutive home win and they will be on 29 points, having lost once in six. There would only be 10-point gap to the top six.

It's a fair distance but there are 22 games to go.

Well that just about does it. All over at Elland Road.

They say the best teams grind out points when they don't play well. Maybe that's the case for Leeds tonight.

Stuart Dallas' late equaliser got Leeds out of jail after Alan Browne's earlier goal for Preston.

West Brom's lead at the top of the Championship is cut to three points. Preston are sixth.

    Stuart Dallas to the rescue!

Luke Ayling picks up a long cross into the Preston box and lays up an unmarked Dallas with a neat tapped low cross inside the box.

Dallas then thumps it home and Leeds have got out of jail. It's been an inconsistent performance this evening, but they've got a dramatic late equaliser.

Stoke City's remarkable 3-2 injury time comeback win against Sheffield Wednesday was a real humdinger, with a flood of goals in the final half an hour swinging the game.

It was a game filled with a gamut of emotions and thoughts for the two managers.

Stoke boss Michael O'Neill speaking to BBC Radio Stoke:

"It was great to win the game. It would have been very harsh on us to lose the game, we were deservedly in front in the first-half and the second-half was even but we didn't look in any trouble.

"The two goals came from set-pieces and it seemed like a day where things would go against us, it's a difficult situation but the players' character was fantastic today. It was great for Sam Vokes, he was sick the past few days and passed fit this morning.

"We can play better than that, we can play prettier than that. But what we did show is the character we need to get us out of the situation we're in."

Sheffield Wednesday boss Garry Monk speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield:

"Ultimately, overall, we got what we deserved. It's not the performance I expect from that team from what they've shown since I've come in.

"I'm hugely disappointed with the result, for 60 minutes we didn't match their fight. We were coming up against a team fighting for their lives."
