  1. goal

GOAL Hibernian 2-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Jason Naismith

Wow! If Hibs' first goal was a touch fortuitous, their second is an absolute cracker!

It's a wonderful flowing move, the ball fizzed around the midfield with Scott Allan instrumental.

The midfielder plays a one-two with Christian Doidge, then sends Vykintas Slivka racing up the right, who slides a brilliantly weighted ball to the overlapping Jason Naismith.

The right-back has plenty to do, but lashes a thunderbolt beyond Laurentiu Branescu at the near post. Stunning.

Big 45 minutes for Aberdeen as they hope to narrow the gap with the Old Firm at the top of the table but are being held at home by St Mirren.

The game hasn't been for the purist. There's been no real flow to it. St Johnstone look like a side trying not to get beat. Motherwell trying to play pretty football, but they are giving up possession far too easily

Hibs have looked good in the final third. Jack Ross is coming out at every opportunity, encouraging his players, asking them to do more and you can only see Hibs adding to their lead

    Jane Lewis
BBC Sport Scotland at Easter Road

Hibs are well on top in every aspect of this match at Easter Road. They’re passing the ball around really well and creating plenty of chances. When they do lose possession, they fight to get the ball back - and usually to some effect. Killie just don’t look at the races. The half-time team talk from their manager will be interesting. I would imagine Angelo Alessio's opposite number, Jack Ross, will tell his player “more of the same”.

  10. HALF-TIME Aberdeen 1-1 St Mirrenpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

St Mirren are deservedly level after impressively battling back from Sam Cosgrove's sixth-minute opener.

Jonathan Obika benefitted from Ryan Flynn's terrific build-play to equalise and the visitors have had a host of headers at Joe Lewis' goal with Aberdeen's three-man defence in disarray.

However, Lewis Ferguson missed a sitter that would have put Aberdeen 2-0 up and St Mirren have work to do to claim a first away point of the season.

Kilmarnock look all over the place in terms of their body language - like they need a shot of adrenaline. They're not going into tackles commited, they look sluggish, passing looks poor, they look really flat and I can't work out why. They were excellent against Hearts and now, at their Edinburgh rivals, look the polar opposite

  12. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-0 Hamilton Academicalpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Alasdair Lamont
    BBC Sport Scotland

Not the most entertaining 45 minutes I’ve ever seen but any attacking enterprise on display came from Livingston, who must wonder how they haven’t gone in ahead. Accies have failed to test Matija Sarkic in the home goal and lack a creative spark, relying principally on long balls.

  13. HALF-TIME Motherwell 1-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

Despite the scoreline, St Johnstone have shown some encouraging stuff in what has been an even first 45 minutes at Fir Park, but they haven't really worked goalkeeper Mark Gillespie.

Motherwell have been guilty of similar, with Chris Long failing to hit the target three times. But Devante Cole beat his marker to head them into the lead, and Peter Harley almost made it 2-0 before the break with another header that was cleared off the line.

  14. CLOSE!published at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Motherwell 1-0 St Johnstone

Motherwell go close to a second. Liam Polworth's corner reaches Peter Hartley and his header looks destined for the net, but it's cleared off the line by the Saints defence.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

    Livingston 0-0 Hamilton Academical

A chance for the visitors this time as the Accies front pairing combine well.

Marios Ogkmpoe does well to head flick the ball into the path of George Oakley, but his strike partner skews his half volley wide high and wide of the goal.

  16. HALF-TIME Hibernian 1-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2019

This has been a dominant first-half performance from Hibernian, who have played some excellent football and enjoyed nearly two-thirds of the possession.

Christian Doidge's goal separates the teams at the interval after the striker nipped in front of Laurentiu Branescu and looped a header high over the goalkeeper. Not one the Kilmarnock stopper will want to see again, but a sixth goal in four games for the Welsh striker.

Melker Hallberg, Joe Newell and Doidge have all gone close since the opener, but there hasn't been a gilt-edged chance for a second goal despite Hibs' supermacy.

Kilmarnock have looked laboured and meek. No shots, no corners, and very little to shout about at the break. Still, they're only a goal behind.
