St Johnstone's Anthony Ralston goes on a good run from the right-hand side, creates space for himself, but it's a weak left-foot shot in the end that gives the goalkeeper a simple save to make.
At the other end, Jermain Hylton cuts the ball across to Chris Long on the penalty spot and the striker stretches and gets a toe to it but can't direct it on target.

Wow, that is a truly ridiculous goal from Christian Doidge.
In comes a rather speculative Scott Allan delivery from the left. It appears to be looping harmlessly into the arms of Laurentiu Branescu.
Doidge, though, has other ideas. Up he goes, ahead of the keeper, and his impossibly high header loops miles into the air, and drops under the crossbar. Bonkers.
That's a sixth goal in four games for the Welsh striker.

Good response from St Mirren to falling behind as Kyle Maggenis has a near-post piledriver parried behind by goalkeeper Joe Lewis.
The resulting corner is swung in and Gary MacKenzie thunders in to send a header wide with the marking non-existent.

Another huge chance for the home side. Steve Lawson whips a free kick into the box from the left-hand side and a glancing header from Jon Guthrie hits the far post with goalkeeper Luke Southwood clawing the ball off the line.

The hosts are ahead and who else but Sam Cosgrove with the goal. A Ryan Hedges cross is headed out to the 18-yard line, where the big striker fires into the top corner. That's 18 goals in 22 appearances this season from red-hot Cosgrove.
