Mike: Not convinced Saints can survive this season and don't buy the recent press about how they have improved. The back four are the worst in the division, utterly abysmal. Midfield is slow and lack ideas. Only Ings and Ward-Prowse offer anything.

West Ham look tired and leggy. They are just watching the game, no one is physically defending or marking anyone. Southampton have nothing to lose. West Ham are not putting enough pressure on them. I understand why they are dropping deeper but it's a dangerous game to play.

Final change for Southampton as Che Adams comes on for Cedric. Adams is still waiting for his first goal for the Saints, what a time this would be to score it....

Cedric's cross flies through from right to left to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on the far side of the box but he scuffs his shot wide. Big chance for Southampton.

Change for West Ham as they try and pinch a point. Stuart Armstrong is on for Shane Long.

Michail Antonio's name is being sung from the away end. He has been head and shoulders the best player on the pitch today. I'd go so far as to say his performance has been the best of any player in any Premier League game today. He's been everywhere.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg cuts the ball back inside the box for a totally unmarked Jack Stephens who... slices the ball out from the middle of the area for a throw in.

Antonio whips in a superb cross for Sebastien Haller and the striker directs a powerful header towards the bottom corner but Alex McCarthy reacts quickly to get a strong hand to it and keep Southampton in this.

Andy: I just don't understand this game any more. First the double penalty that wasn't, now the baffling decision to call that handball. Antonio's arm is by his side and the Southampton player kicks the ball onto it from six inches away. Bizarre.

Graeme Wallace: They really need to get rid of that stupid new handball rule. The ball was kicked against his hand from one foot away and it was next to his body. Hardly deliberate!

There is your warning shot from West Ham. He was allowed to control it and the West Ham defence were no where near him. They should not be allowing any attacker that much time on the ball in such a dangerous space. Defenders are not getting near enough to their attackers.

Danny Ings hits the woodwork again soon after but he is flagged offside as he chases a ball from halfway.

Southampton are starting to get into their groove now.

Moussa Djenepo and Danny Ings combine much better again soon after as the latter brings a cross under control before rattling a shot off the underside of the crossbar. So close for the hosts.
