Moyo has had two bites of the cherry before this and it's third time lucky. There wasn't a lot of pace in the ball in but he met it absolutely brilliantly - this is a good Motherwell side and Accies are making them look ordinary - they have dominated the second-half

  4. goal

GOAL Livingston 2-0 Hibernianpublished at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Jon Guthrie

Would you believe it? It's a second for the big centre-back.

It's great work again from Steve Lawson on right to to whip the ball into the box from and Guthrie's glancing header beats Ofir Marciano down to his left.

Hibs fans heading for the exits... They've seen enough. A limp display from the visitors.

    David Moyo

    Unbelievable stuff at Fir Park.

It's David Moyo at the back post who outjumps Declan Gallagher and thunders a header by Mark Gillespie. The home crowd are stunned. You can't say it's not deserved.

  6. Postpublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    St Mirren 1-0 Kilmarnock

Lovely, one-touch passing football from St Mirren inside the Kilmarnock box, and the move really deserves a goal, but Jonathan Obika can't quite get the ball under control and his eventual shot is easily saved.

It is all St Mirren as they desperately search for the killer second goal.

It's what they deserve. Accies have been superb in this second half. They've been first to every ball, more tempo, more pace - and finally they put away one of those chances

It won’t win any awards, but Jon Guthrie’s scrambled effort after Craig Sibbald’s corner is the Englishman’s fourth of the season - and he won’t care about how it went in!

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    St Mirren 1-0 Kilmarnock

St Mirren's Tony Andreu is denied by the brilliance of Laurentiu Branescu.

He gets to the front post unmarked and bullets a header at goal that looks destined for the net, but goalkeeper Branescu shows superb reflexes to push it over the bar.

  10. GOAL St Johnstone 0-1 Ross Countypublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Iain Vigurs

The second half has been all St Johnstone but Ross County have hit back with a smashing goal from Iain Vigurs, who picks up a lay-off from Billy McKay and knocked his shot in off Zander Clark's left post before watching it fly in.

    Aaron McGowan

You can't say it's not been coming. Motherwell don't clear their lines with Mayo's knockdown falling to McGowan on the edge of the area. Substitute Peter Hartley turns his back on the shot, which skids off his leg and diverts beyond Mark Gillespie.

We did say the next goal was massive, where will this go now? Hamilton well on top.

It is all St Mirren, they seem to have a grip on the game. There's a dreadful mistake from Kilmarnock goalkeeper Laurentiu Branescu, he can't get the ball from out of his feet, eventually conceding the corner. Kilmarnock are a bit of a shambles at the back.

    Jon Guthrie

The ball is hacked over the line after an almighty scramble. The ball lands inside the six yard box from a corner and there are three or four goes at it before Jon Guthrie gets the telling touch. At least we think it was the big defender since it was complete bedlam in there.

  14. CLOSE!published at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

    Livingston 0-0 Hibernian

First opportunity of the second half for Livingston as Ricki Lamie has a free header from a free-kick that the centre-back will think he might've done better with.

Shortly after, Craig Sibbald has a half-volley deflected just wide of Ofir Marciano's left-hand post.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

Another chance for the much improved home side as Matty Kennedy picks up the ball in the centre of the park and, with enough time and space to compose himself, fires off a rocket of a shot. Nathan Baxter gets two hands to it and sends the ball smashing against the crossbar.

The visitors have started much better in the second half. A superb Paul Hanlon pass plays Martin Boyle in behind but his effort is diverted out for a corner.

From the resulting corner, Darren McGregor plays the ball back to Melker Hallberg who skies the ball high over the bar with a strike from the edge of the area.
