It's a great save by Pepe Reina from the penalty but it's a good finish on the follow-up by Son Heung-min.
Villa have dominated this first half but Tottenham look a lot more dangerous than they do.

Pepe Reina saves the penalty, diving well to his right, but the rebound is gobbled up by Son, who reacts quickest.
He bundles it over the line and Reina grabs his shorts, screaming furiously. Must be so frustrating for a keeper to save a penalty and still concede!

Dele Alli robs the ball off Kortney Hause and wins a free-kick in midfield. He tries to take it quickly but Douglaz Luiz won't let him.
Ben Davies then combines with Lucas Moura (who flicks it first time into his path on the left) and cuts it back into the middle. Alli's shot ricochets off two defenders before Steven Bergwijn's shot is blocked. How did that not go in?!

A switch of play from Villa doesn't quite come off and Spurs have room to counter through the middle before that move breaks down.

Lloris is only ever a match winner or a liability, never anything inbetween. He's too inconsistent to be a top player and Spurs need to move him on.

A man of Dele Alli's quality should be scoring - he does everything right apart from the finish.

Son Heung-min flicks it on for Dele Alli down the right and he's through on goal. The angle is tight but he only has Pepe Reina to beat.
Alli opts to go with the outside of his boot but doesn't get enough curl on it and it flies wide of the far post. Huge chance!
