Tottenham have not always been that convincing in the past few weeks but they have still put together a decent little unbeaten run in the Premier League and FA Cup.

I can see Spurs continuing that form here, too.

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith speaking to Sky Sports: "It’s a blow [to be without Tyrone Mings] because he’s a very good player for us and he has been all season. But he was ill yesterday so we knew he was going to be missing.

"We have Bjorn Engels who is an international coming in so we have strength in depth in that area.

"We have had a few days off and its allowed us to get a bit of head space. We’ve had a half decent season but have left points out there as has everyone else. We had a big turnover on personnel but they are getting better now."

    Tom Heaton
Aston Villa and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 live

I never really switched off - I was always trying to affect the defenders or the midfielders. And if we had a throw-in up the field I'd be up there on the halfway line trying to get involved.

Even if it's a quiet game, you have to keep yourself focused. So if I caught myself looking around at the crowd or anything, I'd immediately try to get my head back in the game.

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho speaking on Sky Sports: "We have recovered [Ben] Davies who had played just one match with me. Giovani Lo Celso was not ready to start but is ready to help and Steven Bergwijn of course could not play the replay in FA Cup but is no problem for now.

"It was a great opportunity for other guys to play [with Davies out] and I cannot complain with what they gave, but he is an experienced player and a proper left-back in his way of playing and I think we need him. We have more options than before in a very difficult period of playing in three competitions at the same time."

Harry Winks is a top, top player and I've seen that first-hand from when I've been away with him with England.

Pochettino really liked him and tried to get him into the team and obviously since Mourinho came in, he's been one of the first names on the team sheet.

What separates top goalkeepers from world class ones?

What separates the top goalkeepers from the lower down ones is the decision making. Everyone's got technique and positioning. What separates is the decision making - who do you pass it to when you've got it, do you come for a cross or do you come out to tackle an attacker.

"Because of the Southampton game we had less time for training but we had three very good days. We went through different aspects of our game to improve."

Aston Villa have a poor record against the established top six this season - something that might need to change if they're to stay up, with four of their remaining home games coming against them.

Tottenham haven't been at their best recently but they're still getting results, with only Liverpool and Manchester City picking up more points since Jose Mourinho took over.

Pepe Reina has been excellent since he came in.

I used to look up to him and have played against him lots of times, and he's got a reputation for being very charismatic. He gives everyone a lift around the place due to that charisma.

I think he's fitted into the squad really well - his arrival kind of coincided with us going to a three at the back too, and he's done really well.

Aston Villa head coach Dean Smith: "It's a tough league, one in which it is difficult to build consistency because of the quality of the other teams in there, but I feel we've just started to build that consistency.

"As everybody knows, we had a big turnaround [of players] in the summer and they're starting to gel.

"For the first time we've had a mini break and we've seen a positive side to it. It gave everybody a chance to have some time away from the place, and to clear their heads."

Harry Winks is a good player - I like him. He's the one that will go deep when the team is trying to play out from the back - he always wants the ball.

Eric Dier will do the horrible things in midfield today, but Winks will get on the ball and look to get it up to the attackers.
