  1. goal

GOAL - Sheffield United 1-1 Brightonpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Neal Maupay (30 mins)

Chris Wilder and Alan Knill will be fuming! What a tame goal to concede this is. Brighton have a free-kick on halfway, Aaron Mooy launches it to the back stick, Adam Webster nods it on and Neal Maupay is free inside the six-yad box to head in.

You won't qualify for the Champions League conceding goals like that.

  2. 'Ryan had no chance'published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Sheffield United 1-0 Brighton

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I dont know who's marking Enda Stevens - Brighton were well off the pace, the marking was terrible, but take nothing away from the finish. Mat Ryan had no chance. You've got to say Sheffield United have edged it so far.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Southampton 1-0 Aston Villa

Long delay at St Mary's with Anwar El Ghazi down injured. He's inches away from the touchline but won't move over, resulting in the pause in play. Eventually he lifts himself off the pitch, prompting ironic cheers from the home fans.

El Ghazi can't continue, though, and Trezeguet is on in his place.

  4. 'Clear and obvious? Not to me'published at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Bournemouth

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Football Focus

It doesn’t look like a handball to me! Maybe it hit the top of Billing's shoulder, but the point is we are watching it back and struggling to see it – nothing clear and obvious about it. I am lost for words!

  5. goal

GOAL - Sheffield United 1-0 Brightonpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Enda Stevens (26 mins)

Rule that one out! What a strike.

Sheffield United deservedly lead as a corner is put back in to the box, it's nodded out but only to left wing-back Enda Stevens just inside the aea.

He kills the ball with one touch and then drives a swirling finish into the roof of the net with the outside of his boot. Beauty!

    Burnley 0-0 Bournemouth

    Phil Dawkes
    BBC Sport at Turf Moor

You could have heard a pin drop in Turf Moor when King's effort found the net. Well, for a second at least, before the away fans cottoned on.

But that VAR review sure lifted the mood in the other three stands. Handball you say? OK then.

Bournemouth had a chance immediately after that one that should probably have taken too. They've been the bigger threat but it remains 0-0.

  7. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Bournemouth

Good from Bournemouth again, and they should be ahead again but Harry Wilson can only head it straight at Nick Pope. Big chance!

Dennis really is a menace at Turf Moor today. He's showing no signs of letting up.

    David Ashworth.

  9. Postpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Southampton 1-0 Aston Villa

Aston Villa just cannot cope with Moussa Djenepo, who finds a pocket of space to get a shot off but again Pepe Reina saves.

  10. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020
    Breaking

    Burnley 0-0 Bournemouth

Of course, the goal is disallowed after a VAR check. Handball, apparently.

What have we done to this game?

David Ljunggren: Newcastle can’t even take a corner without the ball going straight out of play. It’s going to be a long afternoon

  12. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

A let off for Newcastle as Christian Benteke rises unchallenged to meet a free kick but heads wide from close range. Had to do better there.

  13. goal

GOAL - Burnley 0-1 Bournemouthpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Joshua King

Scruffy goal! But they all count. Andrew Surman's corner is nodded on by Philip Billing and Joshua King is able to get there before Nick Pope to slam it home from a few yards out.

    Oh hang on...

  14. 'Brighton coming back in to it'published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Brighton

    Chris Waddle
Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Lovely delivery by Aaron Mooy and great defending by John Egan, a lovely headed clearance. Brighton are starting to come back in to it. Yves Bissouma is the player who's making it tick.

  15. Postpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Burnley 0-0 Bournemouth

Space in midfield for Phil Billing to run at the Burnley defence, he is always going to shoot and his effort is charged down and away for a corner.

  16. Postpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Southampton 1-0 Aston Villa

Danny Ings gets the better of Tyrone Mings but the striker's shot is kept out by the feet of Pepe Reina before Moussa Djenepo launches over for Southampton.

  17. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Sheffield United 0-0 Brighton

Better from Brighton - Aaron Mooy's fine free-kick is well defended before Yves Bissouma, who has already been booked, has a long range bobbler easily held by Dean Henderson.

Gareth Southgate is in the stands today by the way watching Hendo, among others. Glenn Murray or Billy Sharp may get a call-up yet if the injuries to English forwards continue.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

Only a great save denies Joelinton putting Newcastle ahead as the striker breaks towards goal before letting fly from 25 yards but Vicente Guaita produces a fine one-handed save to keep him out.

I agree with what John Carver said on five live last night - NUFC should be going with 2 up front. Brucie needs to get us on the front foot again like earlier in the season!

    Beansy, Northumberland

  20. Postpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

Jordan Ayew gets away from a defender but shoots straight at Martin Dubravka as Crystal Palace keep up the pressure.

The busy Dubravka is called into action again soon after, this time tipping over Scott Dann's header.
