Southampton v Aston Villa (15:00 GMT)

    Dion Dublin
Former Man Utd striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Villa aren't bad going forward. They still haven't scored enough goals and there's too much on Jack Grealish's shoulders but I think Villa have enough to get out of the mess, I really do.

Will the FA now sack the VAR decision-makers as they have admitted a mistake? Why can't the referee look at the pitch side monitor? What is the point of having a pitch side monitor if it's never going to be used??

    Sanjay, London

David Coote may be a good referee, but he is not top class. If they insist on putting 2nd class referees on VAR it will not improve ... he should have alerted Oliver to have a look and make the final decision (as in rugby). Fortunately it didn't make any difference at the end of day.

    Burnley v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    Kieron Dyer

We have mentioned Eddie Howe as the next big thing as a manager who deserves an opportunity at a big club.

This is a test of his mettle now. We're going to find out how good Eddie Howe really is.

If they can get through their remaining fixtures and he can keep them up this season I think he is due to go up to the next level.

Jack Grealish is one of my favourite players in the Premier League right now. He has so much pressure on his shoulders and you just don’t see it. He leads by example and he is a general on the field.

Is Stockley Park near Bletchley Park? Maybe we could do with a football version of the enigma machine to work out what's going on with VAR.

  8. 'Chelsea deserved it, comfortably'published at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    FT: Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham

    Andy Reid
Ex-Nottingham Forest and Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Chelsea deserved it, comfortably. They really did. The late pressure kind of papers over a really poor performance from Tottenham. I didn't think they were good, I didn't see the plan.

Mason Mount was probably the best player on the pitch, he passed the ball forward and got the ball in really good positions. Chelsea were far and away the best team on the pitch.

    Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham

    Andy Reid

The goal comes from Erik Lamela making a forward run past the centre-back and a bit of positivity can bring something. Tottenham just have not done enough of that today. I think it will be too little, too late, but Chelsea have some defending to do.

2 games without Son & Kane, zero goals. Based on a mixture of Mourinho’s negative brand of football, Spurs unable to defend, plus Son & Kane’s season ending injuries; Spurs are gonna nose down the table. Spurs ain’t even gonna get top 6, I reckon 7th or 8th.
