Re Mark Chapman's response on the VAR decision on Lo Celso's tackle, most fans won't be surprised. It's the usual standard of decision making and reasoning we have come to expect from Stockley Park.

    Should be 3-0!

Good work by Mason Mount on the right as he turns towards goal, knocking the ball past Jan Vertonghen before playing a low ball behind the defence. Tammy Abraham prods goalwards but too close to Hugo Lloris.

    Burnley v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    Phil Dawkes
    BBC Sport at Turf Moor

A few weeks back this was shaping up to be a full-on relegation six-pointer. But Burnley's recent superb form has lifted them out of danger, leaving Bournemouth to desperately fret about the prospect of the drop. The Clarets are looking upwards now, to another potential and improbable European qualification. Sean Dyche remains one of the great Premier League over-achievers, keeping humble Burnley in the mix year after year.

Eddie Howe can similarly bracketed, although he is facing a few huge months ahead. The Cherries picked up a bit with two wins on the spin recently, but defeat at Sheffield United leaves them needing a result here or they could be heading for the bottom three.

They have Chelsea and Liverpool in their next two fixtures.

Jacob Peck: From Stockley Park. Apparently, he had nowhere else to “put his foot”! Clearly that resulted in him having to purposely ‘stamp’ down as well! The ineptitude of these ‘officials’ is a joke! Why couldn’t Oliver just go and review it on a pitch-side monitor! Red all day.

Greg Krojac (sci-fi writer): No way a red card. Lo Celso is putting his foot on the ground, as anyone would do. Chelsea player slides in, putting his leg where Lo Celso is expecting to meet turf. He had no other place to put his foot. #VAR got it right!

  14. 'Chelsea have given Tottenham a bit more space'published at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Chelsea 2-0 Tottenham

    Andy Reid
Ex-Nottingham Forest and Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Chelsea have let off the press a little bit since going two up, perhaps thinking that they're not the ones that need to chase a goal. They've come off a little bit, which has given Tottenham a bit more space.

Ross Barkley spreads it wide to Reece James but Ben Davies blocks the youngster's shot.

Tottenham break up the pitch quickly and there's half hearted shouts for a penalty from the away fans as Harry Winks goes down inside the box under Antonio Rudiger's challenge. Nothing given.
