Totally agree with Rob (13:48). VAR is doing its job well. It's the human decision that falls down. It's going to take some time to tweak and get right. But it's necessary. We've had inconsistencies with refereeing decisions for years. It's just now coming from a different source.

Lucas Moura dances his way along the edge of the area before attempting to clip the ball across the box but Andreas Christensen is in the way. A better spell for Spurs.

I have a statement from PGMOL on why that wasn't a red card... Give me strength... Not a clear and obvious error because the VAR didn't feel there was anywhere else for Lo Celso to put his foot.

Am amazed Azpi isn't leaving on a stretcher. Not so amazed none of us can understand the VAR decision. It'd be funny if it wasn't so dangerous.

Expecting the usual criticism of VAR over the red card...VAR did its job; it captured an incident you could easily miss in real time. The problem is incompetence; there is an official at the other end somehow deciding that it's not a red card. VAR or no VAR, the standard of refereeing is the problem.

A quick turn and Tanguy Ndombele powers into the Chelsea box but can't get past Reece James. Good covering by the 20-year-old because that was a Tottenham goal otherwise.

Mo: How is that not a Red..again VAR officials leave me speechless

Theo Bowyer: Think that is the clearest red card you will see... VAR is an absolute joke. Scared to override the referee even when it’s blatant

Ruz: As a Spurs fan, I have to say Lo Celso should be sent off. That's a simply awful 'challenge' and how VAR doesn't see that as serious foul play is beyond me.

Tottenham are not at the races at all today and lucky to still have 11 players on the pitch.

Approaching the hour mark and no suggestions yet that Jose Mourinho is considering changing things.

Chelsea fully deserve this 2-0 lead. They have been by far the more progressive team while Spurs have been so short of attacking ideas.

Lampard loved that goal. And why not? Mourinho downcast.
