Tom McQuillin: I can empathise with Mourinho’s lack of options. The Spurs squad depth is not even nearly good enough. But I cannot empathise with the total lack of a strategy he exhibits week-in week-out. There rarely seems to be a Plan A, let alone a Plan B!

Chelsea's forward running is causing Tottenham all sorts of problems - when Mason Mount and Ross Barkley make those runs past Giroud they're really stretching Spurs and it's really creating space.

For Tottenham, not one of their players have made a forward run, so the back three of Chelsea can really squeeze up the pitch and when Tottenham get the ball they've got nowhere to go.

Davinson Sanchez goes through the back of Ross Barkley and Chelsea have another free kick, this time just inside their own half.

Tottenham are struggling to maintain possession for more than a couple of passes at the moment.

Mason Mount's delivery from the free kick is headed away but Marcos Alonso is onto the loose ball before powering a shot just over the far post with his weaker foot.

Harry Winks pulls down Jorginho and is shown the first yellow card of the game. Chelsea have a free kick midway inside the Tottenham half.

Chelsea dominating possession and fully deserving of their lead. That early Lucas Moura shot aside, Spurs have offered very little in the final third.

Tottenham are having to withstand some pressure as Chelsea come forward again. Spurs have just one win in their last 33 visits to Stamford Bridge and have it all to do if they are going to make that two wins from 34 visits.

It was really good goal. I was saying a couple of minutes ago that you don't get many runs in behind from Olivier Giroud but then he goes and does one! It was a great run, a great effort by Ross Barkley and what a finish by Giroud on his left foot. They're the kind of goals you don't want to get disallowed!
