  2. CLOSE!published at 60 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Even when they're not at their best Manchester City can have little flashes of play which are just class. Bernardo Silva is at the end of one such little triangle but he can only win a corner.

Ilkay Gundogan then has a shot charged down - penalty?!

That hit Dennis Praet on the arm...

  3. SUBSTITUTION - Laporte offpublished at 58 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Interesting. Aymeric Laporte has come off, with Nico Otamendi taking his place.

Injury? City play Real Madrid in the week of couse.

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

The King Power is rocking, pretty open game just now with both sides looking a threat every time they come forwards.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 53 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

A wrist of steel! Youri Tielemans loses the ball in a dangerous area, Rodri is able to find Kevin de Bruyne on the corner of the area, he chops onto his right foot and batters in a low shot. I was expecting the net to burst but Kasper Schmeichel gets a big hand to it and keeps it out. Superb goalkeeping!

  6. Postpublished at 52 mins

Harvey Banes normally plays on the left wing but he's gone in as a striker alongside Jamie Vardy and looks a real nuisance. He's continually been fouled so far as City try and deal with him.

Kyle Walker runs into trouble and thows himself to the floor, referee Paul Tierney isn't interested.

  7. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Tremendous ball from Ben Chilwell, half-volleyed downfield into the path of Jamie Vardy but he takes too long and sort of treads on the ball, the chance is gone.

  8. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Manchester City have the ball for an extended period, Kyle Walker moving into the centre of midfield when they have the ball, but they try and thread the ball through the eye of a needle and they get closed out.

  9. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

Harvey Barnes immediately gets away from Aymeric Laporte down the right, his low cross is headed for Jamie Vardy but is well dealt with. He is direct.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 18:32 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

Harvey Barnes is on at the break for Leicester, he replaces Kelechi Iheanacho who we hope is OK.

    HT: Leicester 0-0 Manchester City

    Michael Kightly
Former Wolves midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ederson literally punches Kelechi Iheanacho in the chest. Should definitely have been a penalty. City have had a lot of possession and Leicester have sort of soaked that up and I think finished stronger at the end.

It's been a good game to watch, Leicester definitely look like they could hurt City which is worrying going into Real Madrid on Wedneday.

  14. Man City still looking to find their rhythmpublished at 18:29 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

Pep Guardiola's team selection today was an indication that he wanted to find some rhythm, rather than give his key players any more rest ahead of Wednesday's trip to Real Madrid.

So far, though, it has been Leicester who have been looking more fluid when they come forward, and they have definitely missed the best chance when Jamie Vardy hit the post after galloping clear.

  15. 'We will get more goals'published at 18:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2020

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Newcastle

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson, speaking to BBC Sport: "We dominated the game but I am disappointed we had to suffer towards the end. When it’s 1-0 they are never out of the picture.

"They are good defensively, they get people behind the ball and the keeper is good. You don’t get many chances and we dealt with their threat on the counterattack well.

"We have not let a lot of goals in, we were unlucky to concede at Sheffield United, so that’s a good thing but if we continue to press forward like we did today hopefully we will get more goals.

"It’s our first win in 2020, it was vitally important and had we conceded in the last few minutes it would have been disastrous. That would have knocked us for six, but it moves us up the table and away from the relegation zone. We never lost sight that this would be a dog fight and we wanted to stay ahead of the curve ball on that."

Jon Hare: How is that not a foul? Anywhere else on the pitch and that is a red card!

Ash Williams: So keepers get protection just for being nudged at a corner but they’re allowed to come for the ball with their fist aimed at a players head? Ridiculous.

How is that not a penalty? He's completely taken Iheanacho out. That's dangerous play and it shouldn't matter whether he got the ball or not.

Manchester City have the ball in the net as Sergio Aguero clips in delightfully but he was just offside. A clear call that time.

Benjamin Mendy tries to switch play but hoofs it clean out of play about 30 yards ahead of his intended target. Pep stands up and gives him a hearty round of applause.
