  1. 'Inexcusable from Rice'published at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is basic, there is no danger. Liverpool are not rushing to take it. That is inexcusable.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 51 mins

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

Declan Rice gets a booking for kicking the ball away as Liverpool have a free-kick. Stupid.

  3. 'Already signs West Ham are getting tired'published at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I just wonder how long West Ham can keep the energy levels up. There are already little signs that they're getting tired.

  4. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

Michail Antonio goes on a run for West Ham but seems to lack conviction or confidence this time as Joe Gomez easily takes the ball off his foot.

  5. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

Good footwork by Mohamed Salah and he tries to feed Roberto Firmino but West Ham clear.

Now Salah cuts inside two defenders and hits a shot into a West Ham defender's body.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 47 mins

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

Tomas Soucek has hurt himself early in the second half and he's replaced by Pablo Fornals. I wonder how that may change things. He was topping all the running stats in the first half.

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

    Pat Nevin

Roberto Firmino should have a little bit better than that. In times gone by you would have said that may have bobbled but I don't think you can say that these days.

  8. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

A chance for Liverpool about 30 seconds after the restart. Trent Alexander-Arnold gets the ball in space and picks out Roberto Firmino but the Brazilian shoots over the bar from 16 yards out.

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

  11. 'West Ham have gone toe to toe'published at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

    Rob Green
Former West Ham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

The response to conceding has been excellent from West Ham. When they conceded I thought it was going to be a long evening. They've gone toe-to-toe and they've got bodies forward which they didn't do against Manchester City.

Portsmouth were involved in both those corner epics - Aston Villa v Pompey in March 2006 and Fulham v Pompey in November 2006 had 25 each.

  13. Postpublished at 20:56 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

There were 13 corners in that first half. This season, the most in one game was 22 in the 2-2 draw between Arsenal and Chelsea in January.

The most in one game in Premier League history is 25.

  14. Postpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

Right, I know what you're all thinking. "There were a lot of corners in that half - where does it compare to the record?"

    Well we've asked Opta...

  15. 'It's brave from West Ham'published at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think it's a bit of a shock to people round here that West Ham have come out and had a bit of a go. It's what we wanted to see but it's brave.

  16. Liverpool & Anfield so flatpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

It has not happened very often this season but Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp might be having a few words with his side after that first half.

Liverpool, and indeed Anfield itself, have been very, very flat.

West Ham and manager David Moyes will be satisfied.

  17. 'Old school end-to-end football'published at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

West Ham fans are getting their money's worth at the moment. David Moyes has tried to match up to Liverpool, they hav egone at it. Liverpool have probably had the better chances but the amount of corners that West Ham have had they probably deserve to go in.

That half was an old school, good game of end-to-end football.

Felipe Anderson has given the ball away 14 times - more than any other West Ham player - and only completed four of his eight passes.

Seth Gogo Egoeh: Moyes should sub Felipe Anderson before he costs him tonight. I've lost count of the number of times he gave the ball away this evening and he's not doing much to recover balls he gave away.

Navneet Gautam: West Ham have so many quality players all over the pitch. If they go down, teams will have fun picking that team apart. How are they even in a relegation scrap at the moment?

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2020

The half-time whistle goes with West Ham on the attack. Liverpool are 45 minutes away from dropping points for only the second time this season.
