Someone walked off the end of the wall there, you don't do that. It's basics. He would have got a hammering from his manager if that had gone in.

Almost excellent by Trent Alexander-Arnold. His 25-yard free-kick goes through the wall and bounces just wide of the post. It caught a deflection because it's a corner.

You almost want to say there's a bit of raggedness in the Liverpool defence but you have to check yourself because 20 seconds later they'll have the ball in the net. That's what they do, they draw sides in and then counter.

Frank Ideozu: Think Hammers fans should protest in all of their remaining games this season! It's working wonders at the moment!

It would be SO West Ham to take 3 points off the runaway leaders tonight, then get spanked by Saints at the weekend.

I am very impressed by Jeremy Ngakia and Robert Snodgrass on the right-hand side so far. They're up against extraordinary players in Sadio Mane and Andy Robertson. They both show intelligent movement, sometimes they swap positions and they'll always put crosses in but the West Ham players so far they've done well against wonderful players who both look up for it tonight.
