Anfield has been subdued so far tonight - so quiet on occasions that we can clearly hear Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's booming voice demanding more urgency from his players.

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

West Ham defenders give Roberto Firmino a chance to shoot on the edge of the box but he blazes it over the bar.

Firmino hasn't scored at Anfield since 9 April 2019. His last 11 goals have all been away or at neutral venues.

Robert Snodgrass will work very hard but he's not the quickest of players. If he's left in the right-back position that is a concern for West Ham. It was a lovely flick from Sadio Mane though.

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

Brilliant. Andy Robertson finds Sadio Mane with a backheel. Mane nutmegs a defender and then curls in a shot which Issa Diop blocks for a corner.

    The corner is cleared.

How do you defend that? It's almost impossible. The dip and curve on the cross makes it so difficult to defend.

    Liverpool 1-1 West Ham

Another Liverpool corner. The centre-backs must be exhausted for coming up every couple of minutes for a corner.

A dramatic diving header from Tomas Soucek puts the ball out for a throw-in.

The corner lands to Mohamed Salah 25 yards out but he dallies instead of shooting or crossing and Mark Noble successfully harries him and wins the ball.

Diop is better than Van Dijk change my mind

Sloppy goal conceded from Liverpool again... but have to say it wasn’t a corner in the first place - the very reason why VAR has failed this season too many restrictions and rules on its use

It's another good Robert Snodgrass corner but this time nobody can get proper contact onto it.

Liverpool have had 75.6% of the ball so far and most of the territory. But West Ham have a corner as Joe Gomez blocks Robert Snodgrass' cross.

    West Ham's instant response

    Phil McNulty

West Ham respond instantly and Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson may be feeling just as disappointed as his counterpart Lukasz Fabianski.

The Brazilian got good contact on Issa Diop's header and should have kept it out.

West Ham fans chanting: "We're going to win the league."

Might have left it a bit late for this season but you have to admire the optimism.

We are getting some beautiful moves in this game so far. Mo Salah was putting that in the top corner but it's a fantastic save from Lukasz Fabianski.

Neil Kennedy: Hello!!! Didn't see that one coming. Er, we'll take the point thanks ref, you can blow the final whistle now!

Alan Ferguson: Hang on. We just conceded a thingy, what’s it called. Thing when the ball goes in the net but it’s not us scoring.
