It's quite clear that Sweden knew the weaknesses of Spain.

A lot of things Spain did were wonderful, there were lovely triangles in midfield and out wide with the full-backs, but then eventually when they had to make the last pass that didn't happen often enough.

So it was very frustrating because this is it, this is all Spain has got, this is what we will see for the next two games.

It was a massive team performance from Sweden. Lindelof, Danielson and Olsen were absolutely sensational in blocking their goal and getting that clean sheet.

All that possession for Spain doesn't mean anything, because the only stat that matters is goals scored and goals conceded and it's 0-0 so full credit to Sweden.

It is exactly the same vertical pass into Jordi Alba from Pedri. Moreno tries to head it and Sarabia just wasn't expecting it to reach him and it comes off his knee.

Olsen is able to claim it is another opportunity gone.

And another chance for Spain!

Jordi Alba gets behind the defence and whips in a cross but Pablo Sarabia cannot finish.

Sweden are hanging on.

That was such an important save by Olsen. Sweden have been incredible at the back. A proper gritty backs-to-the-wall effort.

Gerard Moreno gets on the end of a cross and his header is heading for the back of the net before Robin Olsen gets in the way. So close.

We've got to give Sweden great credit, their energy has been great, they've stayed oragnised and they've frustrated Spain.

They've definitely been better in the second half in terms of their tenacity and getting at Spain a bit more, but Spain will be really disappointed if they finish this game without three points.

Luis Enrique is right on the edge of his technical area shouting instructions. I doubt his players can even hear him. Spain think they have won a corner but up goes an offside flag.

More frustration for the hosts as Sebastian Larsson is clipped and eats up another few seconds climbing back to his feet. This has been an eye-catching shift from Sweden's captain.

If 10 passes was a goal, how far ahead would Spain be. I keep thinking about Belgium and Romelu Lukaku.

A number nine that is in red hot form is all Spain is missing. They have everything bar that centre forward.
