The Estadio de La Cartuja - venue for the 2021 Copa del Rey final between Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona - is the setting for this one and is the first Spanish venue to host a major international tournament since the 1982 World Cup.

There will be 20,000 fans in the venue come kick-off with most hoping La Roja can produce a repeat performance when they thrashed Germany 6-0 at the venue last November.

Manchester City's Ferran Torres scored his first career hat-trick on that occasion.

Will the 21-year-old be Spain's hero against Sweden?

Spain are without midfielder Sergio Busquets following his recent positive Covid-19 test. Leeds defender Diego Llorente, who recorded a false positive and has since rejoined the group, is on the bench.

Luis Enrique's big call comes in attack, where he has ignored the case of Gerard Moreno, who scored 30 goals for Villarreal last season. Dani Olmo starts.

Marcos Llorente starts at right-back, with Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta on the bench. There is no place for Liverpool midfielder Thiago.

Man City trio Aymeric Laporte, Rodri and Ferran Torres do start.

Spain: Simon, Marcos Llorente, Laporte, Pau Torres, Jordi Alba, Koke, Rodri, Gonzalez, Ferran Torres, Morata, Olmo.

Subs: de Gea, Azpilicueta, Diego Llorente, Gerard, Thiago, Garcia, Sanchez, Gaya, Fabian, Traore, Oyarzabal, Sarabia.

Sweden may be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic this tournament, but they do still have some serious talent up top in the shape of striker Alexander Isak. Marcus Berg partners him.

Manchester United centre-back Victor Lindelof starts in a side captained by former Arsenal, Birmingham, Hull and Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson.

Dejan Kulusevski and Mattias Svanberg are back with the squad following their positive Covid-19 tests, but do not feature tonight.

Sweden: Olsen, Lustig, Danielson, Lindelof, Augustinsson, Sebastian Larsson, Ekdal, Olsson, Forsberg, Berg, Isak.

Subs: Bengtsson, Johnsson, Svensson, Helander, Sema, Krafth, Claesson, Jansson, Quaison, Nordfeldt, Jordan Larsson, Cajuste.
