Spain 0-0 Sweden
Massive chance for Sweden.
Outstanding play by Alexander Isak, whose quick feet carve out a chance for his strike partner Marcus Berg, but he blazes over from close range.
That should have been in the back of the net.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
Who has impressed you so far? I'm not sure Morata is going to feature. You can rate the players here.

Sid Dodia: I always thought to be a striker you have to score goals on a regular basis and then i see Morata i think you have to miss on regular basis. Luckiest guy in the world to be getting such opportunities for country and clubs.
Darren Harri: Imagine if Spain had a striker.
Amrul Choudhury: Morata, Fernando Torres and Timo Werner. Erling Haaland do you really want to go Chelsea?

I am sensing frustration coming into this Spanish side. I wonder in their mind are they fearing what happened in 2018 where they dominated but couldn't finish?
As Spain's frustration grows, the Swedish side is growing in confidence. They will be thinking one chance, like Isak's in the first half and we can get something here.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
Surely Spain are going to make changes.
The TV camera zooms in on Gerard Moreno. He knows how to find the net.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
It's just not happening for Spain at the moment. All the noise in the crowd is coming from those in yellow. They'll delighted with a 0-0.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
Mikael Lustig goes into the book for time wasting after Sweden win a throw-in. This ref is taking no nonsense.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
Putting it out there now. One goal wins this.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
Another lovely Spanish move involving Marcos Llorente eventually ends with Jordi Alba sending a cross into the six-yard area which is headed clear. Spain are asking all the questions.
Spain 0-0 Sweden

Spain 0-0 Sweden
This is really bubbling to the surface.
Spain respond through Morata but there's more frustration as he pulls another chance wide.
This surely cannot stay 0-0.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
Alexander Isak wins his side a free-kick inside Spain's half and it goes all the way through to Mikael Lustig but he completely mis-kicks inside the box. That's got to go down as a chance.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
Spain start as they finished the first half - on the front foot.
They're inside the Sweden box inside no time but a promising move breaks down when Alvaro Morata commits a foul.
Spain 0-0 Sweden
Will Spain complete another 400-plus passes this half?
We're back under way.
HT: Spain 0-0 Sweden
How about this for a stat...
Spain completed 419 passes in the first half, the highest figure in the opening 45 minutes of a European Championship game since Opta have this data available (1980).
That's outrageous.
HT: Spain 0-0 Sweden

Spanish football journalist on BBC Radio 5 Live
Don't get confused by the score, Sweden don't want to play like this. If they do I think it is a mistake. There were chances for Olmo, Koke and Morata.
But I think we should put in clips for kids on how to build up from the back and how to press. But if you want to look for finishing go and look somewhere else!

WorldCupMatty: Half time report - Sweden run ragged, yet could be 1 up!!! Spain with an allergy of scoring goals - Morata should not miss. Sweden will need to freshen up but right now, they’ll take the draw.
Jimmy: How many times have Sweden given the ball back to Spain to launch another attack. They need to address this in the second half.
Mark: Sweden are playing rope-a-dope football It wouldn't surprise me if they stole a win.
An excellent summary, WorldCup Matty.
HT: Spain 0-0 Sweden
Cesc Fabregas
Former Spain midfielder on BBC One
I'm very happy because Spain have a lot of consistency in the build up play, they move the ball quick, they attack the box and made deep runs.
The only little doubt that we have about this national team is in the areas, both offensively and defensively. Can we score?
HT: Spain 0-0 Sweden
The one and only time Sweden seriously threaten Spain and then this happens...
